1. Make a board titled "The Gutter" where anything goes so long as it isn't illegal (that includes flaming, spam, the whole works). It would drastically cut down the nonsense on other boards. Mind in the gutter? Go to "The Gutter"!
2. Either bring back the curse word censoring or quit being so prudent. Little kids don't surf dynasty websites, and you'd be foolish to think otherwise. If it can be said on TV, it can be said on the internet. I'm pretty sure everyone here has heard those words before.
Just some thoughts.

Let me explain the gutter.
First off, it'd be a hidden mod approved bored, with post count turned off. This way, people are only there if they really just want to mess around.

I'd be for it, but it seems that the moderators here are kind of "above that", but yeah I think it would avoid all this hating going on... and besides people are questioning each other's sexuality in every single topic it seems, so it wouldn't hurt if that just got moved to that type of board...

Why do I sense a "You know how I know your gay..." fight between the mods and basketballer.

half my posts i have to revise cuz i gotta take cuss words out of them. I was afraid of saying hella at first but luckily I guess they dont count that as one. I also agree that no little kids will be surfing a dynasty website.

They should just all have us sign something saying that we accept that there may be some cursing going on. I can somewhat agree with banning because of flaming, but words are words they aren't going to hurt anyone.

I just don't understand why people need to cuss. I mean, there are so many other words out there, like 400,000 in our language alone that you can use. Sure words are words, but some words have a way of showing the class of a person, and I promise most four letter words doesn't show a good quality.

I'm not saying that I have to cuss or that I want to so badly, I'm just saying that when people do it shouldn't be held against them as much as it is.

Well I can see where they are coming from. You can't gurantee that a younger kid doesn't come on here. I am sure a kid can find a link here because of all the video games the site has to do with. That childs parents may not know they come on here, or don't think it is bad because it has to do with sports video games. So one day they are checking up on the websites and see that the language is not polite. Than, that parent takes it up with Stephen or something, than he is in a bad spot because he has members who won't follow the simple rule of not cursing.

Idk, maybe it's just me, but I think that as long as you're not really directing it to someone (like saying I smell like **** today) it's no big deal. Of course I don't want to see this abused and having people calling each other ****heads and crap like that, but littlet nailed it on the head. From what people have done, swearing or not, they get these little 3 day bans things that have been tossed around like Peyton Manning TD passes. Also, I know they're not much at all, but from what people have said to me, that's the 1st warning- a 3 day ban. And from what I've read, don't you have a 1st warning or something before action is taken? I think this whole penalty systems needs to be enforced more IF the mods are truly just making up their own system as they go...
But frankly, I don't really care. I haven't gotten suspended/banned yet, so I'm alright for now... *realizes I just jinxed myself*
Edit:
But freak, where is the kid going to get the link from? Gamefaqs, Madden Mania, or some other forum like that most likely. I don't know about most forums, but gamefaqs for one has easy censor bypassing on a lot of the boards that don't have nerds on 24/7 to report them, and they have a more lenient swearing restrictions. More likely than not, the kid's seen it all or already...

Actually, I can find this site on Google quite easily and I know a lot of little kids that use Google. Who's to say they aren't searching for sports gaming stuff?

Well put DB. Besides the parent may not come across the link to one of those forums, maybe just the once to DC.

Bah, in my quick 30 seconds of searching for terms like "sports dynasty" and stuff like that, I couldn't come across it unless I put "central" in there too, but idk. Parents understand what's on the internet, and if they care that much about what their child sees on the internet, they should either monitor them when they go on or get one of those things that blocks out all but certain websites or something...

I personally think, this is dumb. Its a 3 day ban from a message board, theres million different ones that you can go to, and million of different things you can do. Lucky for you its on New Years Holiday, there should be something to do, and not complain about a little 3 day suspension.
