Even if this man law came into effect, DB would NOT be affected. - d - Completely English. I won't include any other basic English letters.
- é - A letter in several languages. Hungarian, Icelandic, a local Polish variant... Used as a variant of the letter "E" in french-based English words like café. Also, Pokémon.
- ö - A letter used in several different languages, including Swedish. Swedish =/= Mexican.
- ã - A Portuguese letter. Portgual and Brazil, last I checked, were not Mexico.
- š - Actually a Czech letter, if you can believe that. Czech is not Mexican. The little upside-down hat is actually called a caron, believe it or not.
- ê - A letter used in Vietnamese, Portuguese, and Welsh, to name a few. Not Mexico, however.
- à - Used in some languages to differentiate words spelt the same, but with different meanings. Mexican, strangely enough, is NOT one of them.
So in effect, you cannot call out DB for putting such "mexican signals" in his name, for they're not Mexican at all. In fact, only one is commonly used in Mexico, but outlawing that letter would also be outlawing several English words as well. Oh, and calling out others for that sort of thing, it's kinda gay, dude.  |
