am leaving Dynasty Central, effectively immediately. For the past year and a half, this place has been fun. I’ve gotten to talk sports with a tight-knit, albeit small community that really is extremely unique.
You all probably are wondering why I am leaving, though. It really doesn’t have much to do with the site being deleted, although that is a factor in my decision. Mostly though, it has to do with me wanting to not depend as much on video games to have fun. I mean I hang with friends all the time and have a killer time, and I’m a semi-popular guy at my school, but I want to get away from my dependence on video games.
This place hasn’t really had an effect on that though. I mean, regardless of whether I ever found this place I would be in the same situation. I am really truly happy with my time spent here, and I met a few good people who have their priorities in line and are truly knowledgable about sports and such.
Here are a few people I’d like to highlight.
Bama- For having to put up with us bunch of.. well, idiots, for the time you have, I am amazed you haven’t gone insane. You are a clever guy with his priorities in line. Good luck at Ole Miss and with life.
Freak- You are a funny and clever guy. I have enjoyed reading your posts and you are very knowledgeable about Philidelphia sports. Good luck with college and with life.
DB- I probably argued more with you than I did with anyone else here, but you are a good guy. You just happen to root for terrible teams (Except Tigers and Red Wings). Good luck in life, and I think you’re a senior this year, so good luck with that.
Usma- It was pretty cool talking to you on AIM those few times, and you helped me get over that ugly championship game loss to Florida (Football one). I hope for your sake, that one of your teams begins to win.
Chisato- For a Michigan fan, you are a pretty cool guy. Those AIM convos were pretty fun, and it’s pretty cool that despite being arch-rivals we can still talk all calm and everything.
In conclusion, this place is a very good one. I'm sad to see it go under, as it was quite the place back in the day (I had an account back on the site back in early 2005, but never did anything).
