If I could pick any college to go to It would be Air Force but too bad you have to be extra extra extra extra times 100 smart to get into there. Not really...I have two friends at Air Force Academy and one is on football scholarship and really stupid and the other one is not really smart, but does his schoolwork and he got in fairly easily. Its mainly the commitment to serve after you graduate. I still dont think i win i was reading u have to have like a 4.0. Guess ill check it out more.

Any of you guys interested in journalism and want to go to a prestigious school, check out Missouri.
I know it might be a bit too far from home, but if you don't mind getting out of the area you're in now, I'd look into it. Top-rated J-School for five or six years running now.
EDIT: Would like to add as an FYI that three Mizzou J-School grads work at ESPN. Matt Winer, Trey Wingo, and Mike Hall.

Question here, might be a little stupid.
Do colleges look at weighted, or unweighted GPAs, or does it differ by college?

The worst outcome is you are not accepted. That is a hell of a lot better than sitting and thinking of what could have been. It is like a hot chick you want to do the nasty giraffe with. If you don't try, you will always kick yourself for not.

I'm gonna be applying to Penn State, Kent State, Bowling Green, and Youngstown State once I've got my GPA well above 2.0 (like 4.0, hehe) at NCC because the require is at least a 2.0 and right now I've gotten a 1.8 at East Stroudsburg and a 1.4 at Bloomsburg so yea. I'm really working my ass of now to get where I want to be. Photojournalism, specifically in sports, is what I want to do so I kinda need to go to a good journalism school with a newspaper. I want D-1 sports so that's why I'm setting my sights on those four and I WILL get in.

Right now, I'm going for an Associate's in Marketing. Would it make sense to change my major to Journalism if I'm planning on going for a Bachelor's somewhere else in Journalism?

Thought u got kicked out. The school lightened their decision....all the other people got kicked out and suspended. I just lost housing and am on University probation for 2 years. What'd you do? Oh, University of Houston, over here BTW.

I just looked at Air Force's what you have to have on ACT score to get in and it was a 27-31 and i only got a 23. I guess i might still send in just for kicks.

you have to send a lot of shit to te air force academy. you'd have to start early and finish early because it's a long process.
i was in air force rotc duing my senior year of high school and three cadets were hell bent on goin to the academy....smart students too. Active in the community, school, athletics, and good grades. Only one person got in.
But turnin, i'd suggest lookin at an air force rotc scholarship. You can get a 4 year one to pay for your college education while getting a monthly allowence of about $300 a month to use on whatever u want.
I am goin to school on an Army ROTC scholarship. When I applied (the army's the easiest one to apply and get), I got over 7 offers from schools that included: University of Arizona, Maryland, South Florida, George Mason, Towson, Arizona State
But getting a scholarship doesnt mean getting into the school. And once you accept an offer, you can't change your mind. I regret chosing Mason over Arizona or Arizona State now a days but luckily when i transfer to USF, my scholarship will transfer as well.

AF looks great but I am looking for something else. If I don't get a scholarship for hockey I will prolly go to IU and try to walk on their team and major in business or try to get into FSU. Love that place
