Yeah.. okay. We may have lost when it mattered most, but we actually played for a national title, twice. Hell, in a rebuilding year in which we lost the Heisman winner, a 1,300 yard back, two first rounds picks at receiver, and an all-american DT, we made it to the national championship game. Helluva rebuilding year, don't you think? There are only 3 teams in the past two years that can say they played for a national championship, and we are one of them. We still have a top 5 winning percentage in this decade. Well, I will say this: you're unbeatable when it comes to losing title games. |

Coolyjay has a point. If Michigan was making BCS title games and losing, you'd still call us out as being consistently good at losing.
