Birth Licenses

I have posted this in another thread but I wanted to post this again cause not very many people got to see it. Here's my idea for control birth:

With all the ridiculousness that is going around with stupid being giving birth (the Spears sisters, Nicole Ritchie, etc.) I came up with a brilliant idea for controlling who can give birth. The government should start issuing licenses to those people interested in having children. If you're not an idiot, you have a job, etc. you pass. But obviously if your a druggy, unemployed, lead a dangerous lifestyle (like the Spears), are underage etc. you're rejected. If you have a child without a license you have 30 days to get accepted. If you are rejected after having a child, the child is removed from your custody permanantly (no second chances). This would severly cut down on teens raising children as well as children being placed in harms way. I guarantee that within five years of implementation this system would prevent stupid people from giving birth to kids who have no future.

Yes I am actually dead serious about this. It isn't communist at all either. They do something like this in Japan cause of their popualtion growth. It something like you get taxed based on the amount of kids you have or something.

Guarantee the people wouldn't stop having kids. People are too stupid and some chicks will spread their legs for anybody.

Yeah but then their baby gets taken away from them and put into adoption. I think the key to all this is setting up better foster care systems as well as expediting adoption procedures.

I remember JTR and I having a lengthy conversation on this. I think it would solve a lot of problems if you let complete, for lack of a better word, retards have children. Look, you can bump uglies all you want to, I am down with that. It is just that raising a child is a responsibility. Children aren't born racist, sexist, etc. It is influenced in large part by what they see in the home.

thats the reason why I said we need a better foster/adoption system before this happens. Obviously this would be a huge problem but if instead of taking like a year to adopt a kid it could take like a week it would make a big difference.

I don't see how you could whittle the adoption process down to taking a week.....

Anyway you cut it, even if you get reforms done, the foster system will be overloaded.

If anything, the adoption process would need to take longer. By your logic, adopting parents would need licenses, too.

it won't deter people... my wife is a delivery nurse so I hear about the people every day who have kids who don't deserve them, but there is not a single thing that can be done.... the typical patient is early 20's with 4 or 5 kids already... the first one or two really taught them a lesson, huh.

No. Governments would need to change dozens of other things. If you want to fund everything, than go for it.

I'm not telling them to stop humping it is a warning that if you hump and have a baby you can't take care of it's not your anymore. What they could do is expand group homes into more than just orphanages by paying their employees enough so that they actually care for the kids they are charged with until there is a family to adopt them

if the US scrapped their ridiculous Space Program they could fund these thing 5 times over.

Jay, I think you underestimate the amount of kids we're dealing with here. There are thousands of babies born daily that by your standards would be put up for adoption, and there is no way each could get a home. Not that many people want to adopt. It doesn't really alleviate the problem, because the kid gets stuck with stupid parents or stuck in a foster home, neither of which is a real great situation. The families that would be eligible to adopt are probably families that would be allowed to have children anyway and unless they're incapable of conceiving, they wouldn't really want to adopt but rather have a child of their own flesh and blood. Bottom line is, there are more babies than prospective adopters. The situation is not being successfully alleviated.
