So, after seeing a "Songs 4 Worship Country" commercial, featuring such gems as "Awesome God" and "God Is In The House", I was curious as to what the dumbest thing you have ever seen is. This ranks real high on my list.

it wasn't something I saw but something I heard. It was today in fact driving school (first day of school after Christmas break... ugh). This lady phoned into the radio station and talked to Garner Andrews (the morning show DJ) about a draw the radio station was having for a trip to Mexico. Here's a little background: you sign up for their "club" and you can collect points by listening to station and entering the "secret word of the day" then you can spend our points on stuff in the "flea market" or enter draws in "lotto 1029"(the station is 102.9) like the one for a trip to mexico.
So anyway she phones in and says she is sad today because she can't enter the draw for Mexico. Show Garner asks her why? She says because she can't "gamble". She says that even though this is a free draw it has the word Lotto attached to it and therefore makes it gambling. I seriously could not believe this woman. So Garner goes on to explain to this moron how it isn't even close to gambling but she refuses to change her mind citing "religious beliefs".
I think this just goes to show you that alot of people who buy into religious system are crazies. I am not saying people who have a religion are crazy I am talking about people who buy into everything their religion tells them to do. Its very cult-like. I know whats gonna happen I am gonna get flamed by those of you who are religious but know this: I make a big distinction between faith and religion and I am sure most of you are of the former type and aren't crazy religious types.
