See, too many of the bands I like can't reunite cause someone died. The Beatles, The Who, Queen, the Doors, the Jimi Hendrix Experience....

Damn, I like old music.

In terms of living people, I'd like to see Pink Floyd reunite again.

I understand why people want DFA1979 to get back together, but honestly, they had done about as much as they could with the whole drum and bass thing. Their new projects are great, I think they made the right decision.

No you don't. That's most of the reason Nirvana is legendary. Cobain offed himself before they could become stale and old.

Part of me thinks that Cobain coming back from the dead and Nirvana reuniting would be amazing. On the other hand, I think of the people who would go to the show not so much because of the music, but because of the image you have if you listen to Nirvana.

Nirvana was more of a symbolic band than a true great band. They achieved incredible popularity, but in truth their music was nothing out of the ordinary.

well I dont care I love their music and I would love to see them come back. I agree about the types of douche bags that would come out. Those guys that think their cool cause they listen to a guy who killed himself, while not actually appreciating the musical greatness.

Keeper has a point though. When you do sit down and listen to the music, it isn't as great as many of the people let on.

I still like them, but I feel I have put them into perspective a little bit more. They were a great sound of the times I guess. I will say that it is pretty cool that someone wrote a song like 'Floyd the Barber'.

Actually been some rumors regarding a Kinks reunion lately, although Dave Davies didn't seem too keen on the idea....apparently he's been in poor health.
