Sounds like he may have been depressed. God, hate to see that. He was only sleeping like two hours a night, a sign of severe depression. Wish he could have gotten help, because depression can put you in a very dark place.

I hear they're replacing him in the next movie as the Joker with Will Smith...
... that's Blockbuster humor. We spent about 6 hours coming up with funny "so and so is replacing heath ledger as the joker"...

From what I understand, it was a Curt Kobain kinda deal. He loved doing what he did but hated the attention. Sad to see anyone leave life early.

Had to hear about this when I reached work tonight. Made the night go by pretty crappy. I really liked the roles i saw him perform in. Hate to see him go out that young. Now lets watch the media jump on it like it's crack.
