Our dude ran 4:20 Saturday, breaking the school indoor record. Pretty much a lock to break the outdoor record in the next 2 years of 4:17

Very nice McGahee - that kid is going to be fast outdoors. I have states on Saturday!

Good luck man, New England is Saturday, but I decided against going... didn't have an interest in showing up to finish near the bottom of the 600, even if it would've been a PR. Plus I've needed the break, my legs are too damn fragile.
Excited for outdoor though, going to be one hell of a close season.

We finished 16-1-3 and won states for the third year in a row. I played 5 shifts in the championship game so I was pretty happy, I started playing more each game in the playoffs despite being on fourth line. Kinda wierd but whatever... Season totals I think I had around 5 points.

Great day for me in my final high school track meet. I ran the open 800 in 1:57 crushing my previous PR. It was so fun to see some of the kids from around the state. They were very fast and very black. Father Judge had a pair of 6'5" twins that ran the 60 meter hurdles and beat me in the 800 meters. The coach took me out of the 4x4 and scratched my spot in the 3200 relay too so I could run the open 800.
Keeper, what do you plan on running in the spring?

Probably going to run (and suck) in the 400m at Hartford Invitational, which is I think the first substantial meet of the season. Realistically, I can qualify from the 100 through the 800, it just depends where the numbers fall. Probably going to be running a combination of: 400m, 800m, 4x100m, 4x400, and possibly 4x800. It's going to be an awkward season for me, we've got state championship caliber people in nearly every event, so my primary contribution will come in relays, like it did in indoor. In my favor, there's a very week junior class right now, so next season I'll be a top competitor across the board. I'll get shouldered with a lot of team responsibility too, but I think we'll be set. I'm looking into the triathalon route for this summer, I know a girl dropping track this year because she's sponsored to run a few tris. I might be running a half-marathon sometime this spring too. I'm trying to do too much, haha.

First day of outdoor was today, I'm being pegged for a 4x800 relay that has a goal of going sub-8:00... doubt that'll happen. Because I ran a 1:29.3 600m indoor, people are expecting me to be able to put out a 2:03 800. I doubt that happens.
