Braces

Im getting braces in two weeks and I cant believe it...got to wear those things for a year!

In between that time I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled and after the braces are gone i have to wear some kind of retainer for a bit.

I am so down right now

I dunno about that. I just found it funny. But I know theres a drink (a shot) that you can lite on fire and drink....I dont know what it's called. Well I guess he drank and his mouth caught on fire lol.

Braces aren't bad at all, I had em for about a year, they only hurt when you first get them put on or get them changed. If people tell you you look like a dork, tell them to screw themselves.

I had braces as well. It wasn't that bad. The orthodontist I went to did a pretty shitty job, but whatever. As long as your teeth get straight, that is what is important. You don't want to have to deal with troubles when you are older. Then they will just rip them out and give you dentures (unless maybe you are filthy rich and just get veneers or something).

I had braces for a while but the retainer isn't just for a bit. I had to wear it every day, 24 hours for like a year and then every night for like 6 months. I wear it every 2nd night now. You'll find that right after or even like a year after if you miss a retainer day it really freaking hurts when you put it back in cause it has to move you teeth back into alignment, so yeah dont miss a day.

How old are you, 10?? I thought they gave you braces earlier on if they could tell your teeth were gonna come in crooked. How'd you screw up your teeth.

Braces sucked for me. Had em when I was 8 and didn't get em off till i was 13. Still have to wait a retainer every night and for 2 years after I the braces went off I was supposed to wear one during the day but never really did. When people rub it in I had braces that long, I usually ask how many cavities they've had, and then tell them they should brush their damn teeth or something of the like...

Maybe I didn't make it clear, or maybe you just can't read. Probably the first one, but my point is that kids who laugh at me for having braces are the kids who were blessed with straight teeth, but don't brush them. It's not my fault my teeth have problems, but it's your own fault you have cavities...

I have them right now. I get them off in a month or two. Don't really mind them at all.
