Still got Saturday and so on and so forth. The girl's not going anywhere.... My thought's exactly, plus I probably won't be able to stay in my house saturday (We are getting our new floor sealed). So I will have to go out and do something. Plus, I'm kinda glad I had plans, it made me seem not as desperate. Bad part is that she has a boyfriend, I don't think I wanna mess with that goalie. Ok, here's what you gotta do. That goalie, he's staring you down right? Well you gotta look him in the eyes and not tip off what you're gonna do. He's gonna think you're going low stick side, but really, you want to beat him high over the glove. But you fake both him AND yourself out by going high blocker side. Do that and you should be good. |

just try to put it in the vicinity of the goal and hope one of your teammates pokes it in

I dunno if I'd recommend going for his five-hole. It just seems weird. Sometimes, it's for the best. It certainly will surprise and sometimes even anger the goalie, as the goalie knows they should not let one get through there. |

I think it just comes down to you being able to use your stick to beat the goalie.

It's been said time and time again: It's not all about size, it's about how you use it. With some good stickwork, the goalie can be beaten. |

True, but you are also at a disadvantage in that your stick is not allowed to rise above a certain level.

Don't be afraid to get a skate or glove in there, but don't make any distinct kicking motions or you're done for.

Make sure your teammates didn't commit a penalty. It is a terrible feeling when you think you've scored but really all that work was for nothing.
