Spartan you will grow a couple inches and can put on as much weight as you want, and still may never be D2 material. You just have to go out there and have fun. Your 40 time is great for a young kid, just keep working on your fundementals and never let anyone outwork you. I'm never going to let anyone out work me in the weight room. I'm in there all the time. Good luck with the triathlons. I could never do one of those. TJ, I don't really know why i thought you were a good hockey player. Maybe I just didn't think you were as good at golf as you are hockey. Don't ask me why.

Spartan you can go play at community colleges that have football. Out here in Cali my friend is 6-1 180 he runs a 4.9!!!!! and he is going to go start for a community college out here next year at safety. He prolly has no shot at D1 unless he gets hella fast, hella fast but it can be done. I'm 6-3 153, 4.7 40 Bench Max of like 180, never squat maxed but its really really weak at like 225 pounds or so, and CC coaches talk to me about playing at that level (even though I think its BS, Im prolly done with football after next year) So it can be done.

I play junior football with the Edmonton Wildcats. I'm an offensive tackle so I'm not much of a runner so I'm not going embarass myself by posting my forty times. I do however. put up 275 lbs like 7 times on bench giving me a one rep max of approximately 340. I have crazy strong legs though I can squat 405 at least 10 times (never gone past 10 in workouts yet but I have the strength to do it) giving me a one rep max of 540+. I also do alot of cleans and deadlifting. The most I've cleaned is like 150 4 times and I've deadlifted like 400. I've been working out hard for like 7 years straight now though.

I also do alot of cleans and deadlifting. The most I've cleaned is like 150 4 times and I've deadlifted like 400. I've been working out hard for like 7 years straight now though. Kilos or pounds?

Yea, you gotta be able to clean more than that and deadlift WAY more than that in pounds, no? I can swear I maxed, actually, 150 and 400 respectively when I was a Sophmore in high school. Mind you I'm about the same size as I was then, 5'9", 125 lbs. of lean mean fighting machine....HA!
