someone just posted this on DSM, this is a much much better ending.
I hated the ending that was in theatres just because like the whole fucking movie was depressing but this new ending provides some balance to it which makes me enjoy the movie overall a little better.

this is so much better than the ending in the movie...i wish they would have used this one...it sets it up for at least some kind of a sequel but the ending in the movie stops too abrubtly...although it wasnt bad, it could have been better

I like it simply because it actually makes a bit more sense in relation to the book. I feel it just makes the story better. Besides, the Fresh Prince would never puss out like he does in the current ending. He was from West Philadelphia, born and raised. On the playground is where he spent most of his days. That is where he learned to stand up to zombies.

Eh, honestly... I kind of like the ending that they put out in theaters better. Although it is tru that the Fresh Prince wouldn't puss out like that idk... this one just seemed kinda stupid. I think him dying really was needed...

There is no other way to end it. He's one person in New York city, refusing to go to Vermont or wherever the hell it was. He's going to die, he just took some with him.

Yeah, in the ORIGINAL book by Richard Matheson the undead let him live, and he goes to the mountains.

Yeah, in the ORIGINAL book by Richard Matheson the undead let him live, and he goes to the mountains. I know that. I'm saying I think that the other ending is better. If he lives it gives that same old... happily ever after bullshit ending. I hate that in movies. I think it's much more creative when there is a twist like the main character dying. I mean. He is a hero... he is going to save everyone... but sacrificed his life to do it. To me that's better than he is alive and is going to save the world and has a girl now to.. screw that happily ever after bullshit. I personally believe him dying just makes for a better movie.
