I was joking about the Supporting the Rep. Guess DC's sarcasm meter is broke. I don't support the lifestyle, but I'm not going go and bash it public, someone in that position shouldn't make a statement like that.

You know, posts of sarcasm actually have a little hint that you do not seriously believe that. I truly fail to see any sarcasm in that. You don't even post here that often. We have no idea what you actually believe.

Yeah, if you could swing the 2012 ones my way, that'd be awesome, I need a good challenge. I tried to send them but failed, so I'll try it again later. The other scenario I'm working on is where the two parties split and a three-party system emerges in 2008, but it's a scenario that's not that far along.

The one I've been drawing up has the most ridiculous circumstances, I've just been trying to legitimize it on paper before I go through with buying the program to create it. I want to divide into four, possibly five parties (certainly not equal size), but each with their own demographic that could create an interesting nationwide situation.

Sarcasm is generally a tool of inflection, so over the internet it is very hard to pick up.

My favorite election I've ever played. Took a ton of fundraising, smart advertising, and a fair amount of luck on election night.

I love how Clinton had the most popular votes and least electoral votes. Good job, I've never won as Perot.

I love how Clinton had the most popular votes and least electoral votes. Good job, I've never won as Perot. I thought it was going to be a lot more difficult, I almost considered playing on Medium the first time around. I won it on my second try, first time I just ran out of resources and died in the closing month. The big keys were: 1) Getting the Pat Buchanon endorsement - Gained a very small percent nationally, but it brought me into contention in a ton of states, and hurt the Republican base for the general. 2) Running a national TV add every time Bush attacked me, his strategy was terrible throughout, he basically let me waltz to a decent lead in Texas, and focused on tiny Southern states. 3) Continually going after Clinton. Three Democratic candidates made it to the convention, so Bill never had time to attack me. By the time he was the nominee, I had already torn the seams open in New York and California, and secured an edge in the battleground states. Also, the game never had me pick a VP candidate, so I ran as myself. Blessing in disguise, I focused a ton of CP on getting endorsements, that was what really won it for me. I managed to lose every debate, avoid the last week attacks, and spend all but less than $100,000. Trying to decide what my next one will be. Thinking about doing Biden in 1988

I'm trying to finish up my three-party election but Campaigns Forever, more specifically the percentages, aren't working like they should, and I'm a bit stuck. Otherwise, I'm looking for ideas on new elections to make.
'88 is fun, won that tonight as Gary Hart and somehow ended up facing Pat Robertson in the general.

@db: Just ordered Campaigns Forever, installed, went to start-up, and it wants a keycode. I have no idea what to input.

Check your email, they should have sent you one. Also: No one undecided? It was the end. As Colbert, I picked up enough delegates to keep Clinton or Obama from reaching a majority (I even won NH) and then, after all the primaries ended, I got Obama to endorse me and won the nomination with 28% of the vote.
