There are some here that I think an individual of a band could be nominated but other members could be left off. I think Guns & Roses should be nominated because of Slash, but Axl Rose can choke on condoms. So overall, Slash should just be nominated.

I second John Mayer he does make some fruity music occasionally but the guy is a wizard on the guitar and prob has one of the best voices in music today.

R.E.M. is one of this generations most important bands, they definitely should be in.

I will defend Crass in this tournament to the death, though I doubt it will work. Easily the most important band in the entire punk scene.
