I have the primary to look forward to, but I am unsure of who I am going to vote for. I am pretty sure I will vote for Obama but I don't want to overlook Hillary Clinton. I do know that when the general election rolls around, I will not be voting for John McCain.

McCain.
Hillary can diagf, although Bill is a cool guy in my book. He was in Charlotte this weekend and showed up an hour late to some big speaking thing he had because he was in a bar watching Davidson/Gonzaga. Awesome.

Obama.
Nader has gone of the deep end, it's really sad. He's taking radical positions on things just for the sake of drawing contrast to current policies. He's grabbing things from the far-left like always, just now supplementing with positions from the far right. I'm on his mailing list, and will probably help him get on the ballot if there is an effort here (I am a fan of a 3rd party candidates), but it's pretty sad.
I've been able to hang up my Obama shoes though and now work on Progressive Anthony Pollina's campaign to unseat Jim Douglas -- tough odds, but if we can get support from Democrats, could be a close one.

I'm the only non-Nader Hater in the house? I expected that, but that doesn't mean I can't feign surprise at my being alone in support of Ralph.

Either McCain or Obama. I'm still looking into a lot of it. Hooray for getting to vote!

Nader's become a joke. He's taking up extremist positions just to get noticed and differ from the big guns.

Regardless of who you are voting for ... add why you're voting ... that's what I'm curious about.

McCain
Don't want to see us pull out of Iraq and I know he won't. He's more economically to the right, and since I'm a pretty hard core capitalist that matters. Willing to work with both sides of the aisle and that's something the President will have to do this next term. Feel like he'd make things a little better but not f anything up, and since I think this President will likely only serve a single term due to everything going on, I think McCain will handle it better.
That's not to say that Obama doesn't interest the crap out of me, he's just too economically to the left. Plus, the Iraq thing bothers me with him.

I think Obama's great.....as an individual. Issuewise, I agree with him on pretty much nothing.

Nafsder is cooler. (I love feeling superior over those who haven't been here as long then a feeling of sadness.)

That guy is the reason I have sex with women. Okay, more like half of the NASCAR viewing population but still, he was a cool dude.
