Juice Throws Five Picks and Illinois Gets Dominated

Before anything, No that is not a mistype on the title of the week. See where it says 5 interceptions, that actually happened.

Coach yungmizzou thought his team was slightly ready to go for a week one matchup against the highly touted offensive powerhouse of the Missouri Tigers. But a horrible showing which left Illinois pounded in the ground at a 69-10 loss has fans questioning the new young coach. Who replaced Zook who was moved to a recruiting position where he is stronger at.

The Fighting Illini came out quite strong in the beginning of the game. After stopping Mizzou's first drive Illinois got the ball and on the first play a screen pass outside to Dajuan Warren resulted in a 65 yard touchdown thanks to a great block by true freshman Arralious Benn. However things didnt last long.

Soon Missouri came back strong with a quick three yard run by Chase Daniel and then Daniel continued his showing with a 49 yard pass to Jake Perry to put Missouri up by seven at the end of the first quarter. Second quarter rolled around and a 45 yard field goal by Illinois kicker, Reda would be the last score of the game for Illinois.

Soon Illini quarterback Juice ran into problems, Juice basically had no juice as he tossed three interceptions in a row to keep giving Missouri scoring oppurtunites in which they did score with no problem, all the way up to the score of 69

Coach yungmizzou felt however that the Gary Pinkel led Tigers showed no class in running up the score.
"they were up by 35 and still throwing the ball a long ways it was almost as if they were just trying to piss me off, I hope I never witness another team in college football like Missouri."

"The kid had a rough game but it wasnt all his felt, see the default setting of 50 for interceptions in heisman is apparently way too high, and Easports needs to get on their J-O-B on that, I swear sometimes it was almost as if they had magnets on their hands. I will be looking to change the AI on that with a few other things. But right now we have to prepare for FCS midwest because Im not even sure if were good enough to beat them yet.

I dont really know what FCS stands for neither do I care. And if u wanna be a smart one and tell me then you live a sad life. But for all I know FCS reminds me of the word feces wich is basically poop. So maybe FCS stands for F******* Crappy Shit because thats exactly what FCS Midwest played like when they faced off against Illinois.

Now I know Illinois was supposed to win but the game was soooo bad and boring that players were pulling a Barry Sanders and falling asleep on the sidelines. At one point Illinois quarterback Juice Williams was seen cuddling up to running back Rashard Mendenhall asleep. The sleep might explain the eye boogers in Juice's eye which caused him to throw two interceptions but instead of that the Illini were almost perfect.

Coach YM decided to save his starting running back Rashard Mendenhall by putting his brother in who trotted himself to a nice 153 yards and four touchdowns on the day. As for the rest of the team Juice finally may have gotten it together as his interceptions were shortened by half this week and he seemed to show much more poise in the pocket and not so much happy feet.

Overall it was a good week for the Illini and this was prolly a bad recap because who really wants to read about FCS Midwest, but I dont care, Im going to sleep .

Illinois Abandons Pass Turns to Rush and Defense

One Idea has been summoned from the three games played this year.

Juice Williams cannot throw the ball. In the first game of the season against Missouri, Juice throw a whopping four touchdowns and in the next game against a horrible FCS Midwest team, he threw two more. To continue the streak the young sophomore threw another two in a 41-35 win against Syracuse.

The good thing about the two interceptions in the Syracuse game is it did not effect anything. Juice, looking good on the first drive with a six yard touchdown pass then proceeded to tear his image to shreds. In the next three drives number seven fumbled, and then threw his two picks.

Luckily for Illinois a stunning defensive showing, caused no scores off the turnovers and even at one point stopped a score takeover by causing a fumble.

At the beginning of the third quarter Syracuse marched down the field with no problem all the way down to the Illini's three yard line. With the defense firing on all cylinders DT, Sirod Williams laid a punishing hit on Brinkley who fumbled the ball and Illinois linebacker J Leman scooped it up but then was soon tackled.

The fumble, with the score at 20-17 (Syracuse) gave Illinois a chance to grasp the lead but that had a long 97 yards to go. After a quick few, of course horrible passing plays, coach YM decided it was time to try something different. on third and four, Illinois running back Rashard Mendenhall, nearly a force yet, took a pitch to the outside. With a nice crack block on the linebacker by fullback, Ryan Weil, Mendenhall used his speed to hit the corner and then easily burned every Syracuse defender to take it to the house for 70 yards, and a 24-20 lead.

From then on Illinois never looked back once again causing another turnover Sirod Williams picked off a pass in which Illinois converted another touchdown to put them up by eleven and seal the deal.

"Im very happy with the way the team played today, Rashard had a great day on the ground with 196 yards and showed me he could be a premier runner on this team, I am kind of dissapointed with the way Juice played there's no excuse for turning the ball over four times, but at least we got the win."-Coach YungMizzou.

Michigan Escapes In Rivalry, Notre Dame Drops to 1-2
In the annual rivalry game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish Mike Hart and the Wolverines paved their way to victory.

All the way up till the fourth quarter the box score remained the same each team matched each others scores, however in the fourth quarter Michigan pulled ahead, thanks to Mike Hart.

Hart on the day was astounding with 150 yards but his only touchdown run (85 yards) served as the game winner which put Michigan up 24-17. To seal the deal a Wolverine field goal made it 27-17 and kept Michigan ranked at number two behind USC in the NCAA

5 Star Ready For Visit, Illinois High on many Lists

Five Star Defensive Tackle, Marques Campbell wasnt even interested in Illinois during the prospect finding stage. But the high school playmaker was loacated in Illinois so recruiter Ron Zook decided to take a stab at him. With Campbell number one on the Illini's recruiting board and after many phone conversations, Illinois climbed atop Campbell's choices and are now at number five and the Beast of a young man is ready for visit. Illinois is unsure right now when he will visit but a week nine matchup against Ball State seems the liable choice.

Along with good news with a five star many four stars have a supreme amount of interest in Illinois at the moment.

Rashard Mendenhall Has Maybe Biggest Day ever In NCAA Football History and Illinois puts up 101 Points

Editors Note-Please do not bag me on this game, I am a firm beleiver on Realism and I have no clue how the hell this happened they seriously just could not tackle me or basically play any defense/special teams whatsoever.  Also I do play on heisman and most of my games are very hard, lol I had to go in and check mid game if my game difficulty got switched

Even Coach YM had to check for himself, "this cant be right" as he shuffled through the EA sports menus Yungmizzou wondered if somehow his heisman setting got changed or something, but sure enough there it sat, next to difficulty level....Heisman. This wasnt normal and never before during his years of NCAA Football 2002-2008 has YM ever experienced such a dominating performance and such a high score.

The Coach found himself having fun during the game, no matter what play he called it was liable to be a touchdown, and the man to thank for that, would be running back Rashard Mendenhall. (hell u could even thank his brother who had 180 yards and three touchdowns of his own) Rashard on the day was so astounding that it can not even be put into words. On only 16 carries Mendenhall zoomed his way to 371 yards only about 30 yards away from the NCAA record, and he totaled up six rushing touchdowns. But wait a second were not done yet, on the day Rashard had nine total touchdowns how did he get the other three?

It all started first quarter with Illinois already winning 10-0 the defense forced a punt with Rashard back to return it looked as if nothing would occur. two blocks opened a slight hole for Mendenhall which he sprung through but with still a line of defenders in front of him #5 bounced outside. Outside came four defenders, the first a measley cornerback who Rashard stuck it to him with a stiff arm. Then came three offensive lineman, a quick right analog stick pointed up had him break three tackles in a row and resulted in a 76 yard punt return for a touchdown. Two more times Rashard took two kick returns back for a touchdown and both times was not even touched due to his speed and excellent blocking. Even wide receiver Arrelious Benn got in on the action with his own kick return of 44 yards.

So the offensive rushing game was clicking, the defensive was on all cylinders, and the special teams was astounding, everything was going good, correctemundo? Well not exactly, Juice Williams struggled once again as he tossed another two interceptions and even fumbled once giving him a total of 11 turnovers on the year (and thats just through 4 freaking games). Only good news for Williams was how he managed for the first time to surpass the 200 yard mark for 260 yards on the day.

For the defense Sirod Williams, proving to be Illinois top player had another big day with 11 tackles, five for a loss and a sack.

"This game was fun Rashard played like a beast I only wish I could of gotten him a couple more carries to break the rushing record"-Coach YM.

Minnesota Stops Purdue's Wins, Michigan State Drops Notre Dame with an Uppercut

Last week The Purdue Boilermakers were atop of the Big 10 standings with a 3-0 record, but in the first week of conference play Purdue was finally stopped as an overtime 35-28 loss against Minnesota dropped them six positions in the standings.

Minnesota's Quarterback Tony Mortensen was hot on the day as he passed for 281 yards and tossed a total of five touchdowns. One passing touchdown came in the first drive of overtime on the first play and then Minnesota stopped Purdue's offense to win the game.

In other news Notre Dame, after losing to Michigan last week became yet another target of the Big 10. This week facing Michigan State The Fighting Irish's offense was sorry and there was almost no passing stats. Michigan easily overcame the now 1-3 Irish with a score of 31-13

Kentucky Upsets Arkansas, Cal Falls to Arizona, LSU Gets a Suprise

Someone wasnt joking when they claimed Kentucky quarterback, Andre Woodson is a force. In a week 4 matchup where an unranked Kentucky took on Darren McFadded and ranked Arkansas team Woodson led his team to Ultimate victory.

A 42-24 left no questions and it showed it wasnt just luck for the Wildcats as Andre tossed for 258 yards and three touchdowns. The loss bumped Arkansas down nine spots to number 18 in the top 25.

South Carolina continued their winning streak now at 4-0 as they defeated LSU 41-13, The gamecocks are now ranked at number 21 thanks to the win as LSU falls to number 16.


Offensive Tackle expresses interest as Mobiel quarterback is scheduled for visit

With good recruiting news last week the Illini hoped to get more in week four in which they did. Jason Bailey, OT, the number 43 recruit in the nation talked to recruiter Ron Zook and said he would like to visit the campus. Illinois is ranked number five on Baileys list.

Also, mobile quarterback Stewart Nobles with a B+ speed will be visiting week nine aganst Ball State as the Fighting Illini move up to number three on his list after being number seven last week.

Luckily for you, you have all but Iowa at home but still Illinois is a year or two away from contending. I think you'll go 2-2 at best but probably 1-3 in that stretch. Wisconsion PSU and Michigan are too strong, but Iowa won't be that great this year.

I agree I might have some troubled in the upcoming, however I beleive I will beat Iowa State, As of now Penn State is doing horrible so I think I have somewhat of a chance against them, for Wisconsin and Michigan i definetely foresee a loss.

Coach Y decides to change Week nine visits to week five game against Penn State

With most recent news from the Illinois campus, Head coach Yung mizzou has decided to change everybody that was visiting in week nine to a week five Big ten game against Penn State.

"I heard that scheduling against bad teams like Ball State doesnt help your recruiting process so I thought Penn State would be a good matchup."

"There a tough team but they havent been playing well so far and Im thinking maybe we could pull an upset, and I think our recruits would love the atmosphere of a win like that.

Beleive it or not, this game was in the hands of the Fighting Illini. I mean seriously they could of won this game with ease but as my high school football coach says. It wasnt that interception that lost us the game, it wasnt the fumble that cost us, it wasnt the two dropped interceptions. It was all of those things put together that made us lose.

Speaking of high school thats exactly what this game seemed like, everything was done for two point conversion, Coach Y even put his cornerback in at quarterback to make sure speed would give them two extra points. Trick plays were everywhere and the way the two teams clashed reminded me of watching 17-18 year old varsity players pouring their hearts onto a football field.

The game stayed close throughout the whole four quarters but Illinois was the one ahead. A 82 yard kick return by Rashard Mendenhall, his third on the year, gave the Illini a 7-0 lead to start the game. From there on both teams never looked back.

The box score looks straight as an arrow as for every score Illinois scored The Nittany Lions, well that was the case up until the beginnings of the third quarter.

With the score at 31-31 at half Penn State came out the second half with a kick return full of yardage thanks to Derrick Williams. Soon just two minutes into the third running back Austin Scott shuffled his way to a six yard touchdown run to put his team up 37-31 due to a missed extra point.

Now here's where the game starts to downslide and its all, who's fault, if you guessed Juice Williams then your right.

Juice on the next drive threw an interception to give the Lions the ball right back. However with much effort the Illinois defense made an astounding stop to only get the ball back and have Juice throw it away again, and Juice was replaced by Billy Garza in hopes for a slight comeback after Penn State lengthened their score to 43-31.

Garza showed some spark in the offense as a great placed pass to running back, Rashard Mendenhall created a thirty yard touchdown to cut the deficit by only four. But another Penn State touchdown thanks to a Rashard fumble made it 50-39 to almost put it out of reach with only 4:20 left (lol).

With a last stretch, Illinois got once again another break when R Hunt scooped up a fumble and returned it for a touchdown to now cut the lead to only three and maybe give Illinois a chance with 2 minutes left.

Too bad for the Illini the Penn State offense was just too strong and the gamed ended with a score of 50-47 to leave both teams with a 3-2 record.

In maybe the most touted matchup this week #3 ranked Florida and #15 ranked Auburn faced off in a team of unbeatens. However heisman leader Tim Tebow and the Gators came away with the win of a score of 30-21

In other news in an ACC matchup of unranked but 5-0 North Carolina and #13 Virginia Tech. Tarhells quarterback, Sexton led his team with a touchdown pass in overtime to nab a 23-17 and a major upset. Suprisingly however UNC hasnt climbed into the polls yet.
