****************************** September 10th, 2007 ******************************Yesterday's game was amazing. I finally met my boy "All Day", Adrian Peterson, dude is a beast but our defense held him down big time. Tarvaris Jackson struggled all game and thus the ground game suffered as well. Don't be fooled by the score, they're defense did a good job but after awhile you start to wear down. We won handily, 30-9 in Minnesota. My day, well, I'm certainly not all that proud of it. I went 15-of-29 for 288 yards, 3 touchdowns and...3 interceptions! Not happy about that last stat at all! Darren Sharper picked me off twice, guy's a friggin' ballhawk! I had two big touchdown passes that made my day though, one a 52-yarder to Michael Jenkins, who also had the team's first touchdown of the day and I gotta say I'm liking his game right now, and also a 57-yarder to Joe Horn late in the third. Horn's certainly lost a step or two, but he's still got the hands and skill to pull off big plays and I'm happy to have that guy on my team! After the game, I headed out to the locker room and a number of interviewers actually wanted to ask me some questions, I was shocked. I mean, I guess I should expect it but I don't know, I wasn't that much of an intricate part in the win if you want my honest opinion, my receivers made the big plays, I just hit them when the Vikings' secondary slipped up in their coverage. I felt honored though with some of the compliments I got though, I'll say that much. I grabbed my phone from the top of my locker and saw a call from who else...Chloe. It's amazing really, the girl's always got this way of crawling back into my life at the right time but...what is it for this time? I didn't call her back, maybe I should? I miss that girl man, she didn't even come to my wedding last year, it's been YEARS since I've seen her now. Check out how my homies did on the gridiron this week too... Jeremy Grayson, ATL - 3 tackles Matthew Walker, CLE - 29 carries for 113 yards; 1 reception for 17 yards; 4 KR for 159 yards in 42-14 loss to PIT Mike Mill, PHI - 1 reception for 5 yards; 6 PR for 124 yards in 33-30 OT loss to GB Donnie Mullady, KC - 2 KR for 36 yards; 3 PR for 30 yards in 36-3 win over HOU DeAndre Williams, HOU - 14 carries for 47 yards; 1 reception for 9 yards; 2 KR for 50 yards; 1 PR for 1 yard in 36-3 loss to KC Jake Orr, TEN - 1 carry for 2 yards; 2 receptions for 36 yards; 3 KR for 49 yards; 3 PR for 23 yards in 19-12 loss to JAX Jayson Blitz-Ellis, NYJ - 3/10 for 43 yards, 1TD/1INT in 20-14 loss to NE Brad Potter, MIA - 12/20 for 99 yards and 1 INT; 8 carries for 40 yards and 1 TD in 22-17 win over WAS Blake Short, SD - 1 carry for 3 yards in 47-16 win over CHI Ryan Womeldorf, CHI - 3 tackles in 47-16 loss to SD Brett Desmond, SEA - 5 receptions for 26 yards in 20-17 OT loss to TB Steven Walters, NYG - 3 PR for 12 yards; 5 tackles in 22-20 win over DAL Chris Ball- ARI, 6 KR for 142 yards; 3 PR for 24 yards; 2 tackles and 1 INT in 34-20 loss to SF Any others did not play

****************************** September 16th, 2007 ******************************Well this game certainly wasn't as easy but...we won again, this time in the final seconds. I'll recap the drive for you... We got the ball with about 34 seconds left. At this point Jacksonville was up 27-26 and they're at home. Coach calls a post corner play and we break the huddle. I study the defense and notice they got the dime going. Nice. "Hut!" The ball snaps and I drop back, everyone but the D-Line drops back into coverage and so I take off to my left and towards the sideline. My receivers notice this and make some nice blocks, including the kid Jenkins, he's been playing well. I cut past them and soon get bumped out of bounds. 31 yard gain and the clock stops with 25 seconds left. "Hike!" I drop back and make a quick pass to fullback, Mughelli in the flats. He cuts up field and gets 9 yards but doesn't get out of bounds so the clock is rolling. We rush to the line and I call a run, yes a run. Dive to Warrick Dunn picks up 10 yards. 4...3...TIME OUT! I had to have yelled right in the ref's face, oh well. The run got us in perfect position and the field goal team was out on the field. 31-yarder... I held my breath as the snap went off and the kick went into the air, no block, no miss, game over baby! We won it 29-27! I was pumped, I can't say I've played a game like that in a long time now. The locker room was wild after the game, Horn and some of the other guys were singing or rapping something but I have no idea what they were saying, I was just happy to have won. 2-0 in the NFL, I guess that's good huh? I'm so happy for the talents God's granted me and I'm glad I've been able to succeed with Him. I finished the game 14-of-27 for 301 yards, 2 touchdown and 2 interceptions. David Garrard had a good game as well and went 12-of-22 for 270 yards and 2 scores. He's seemed to improved since Leftwich was released, good for him. Joe Horn had another good game for us with 5 catches for 67 yards but Warrick had the biggest game. He hasn't had a big game on the ground just yet but receiving today, he had 3 catches for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns. His two big touchdown catches were a 59-yarder and a 69-yarder. Half my passing yardage can be attributed to those two dashes by him. He might be getting old but he's still got some game. I didn't call Chloe yet, I know it's been a week too, I don't know..just feeling a little skeptical about it..oh well. The DC Fellas... Jeremy Grayson, ATL - 3 tackles Matthew Walker, CLE - 41 carries for 166 yards and 1 TD; 2 receptions for 1 yard; 2 KR for 36 yards in 33-13 win over CIN Steven Walters, NYG - 1 PR for 3 yards; 7 tackles in 31-7 loss to GB DeAndre Wiliams, HOU - 24 carries for 107 yards; 4 PR for 37 yards in 31-15 loss to CAR Jake Orr, TEN - 1 carry for 11 yards; 2 receptions for 8 yards; 2 KR for 85 yards; 5 PR for 91 yards in 37-20 win over IND Brad Potter, MIA - 13/32 for 186 yards, 1TD/1INT; 5 carries for 33 yards and 1 TD in 24-19 win over DAL Brett Desmond, SEA - 3 receptions for 11 yards in 27-17 win over ARI Chris Ball, ARI - 4 KR for 101 yards; 3 PR for 25 yards; 2 tackles and 1 INT in 27-17 loss to SEA Donnie Mullady, KC - 5 KR for 87 yards; 4 PR for 121 yards and 1 TD (88) in 19-10 loss to CHI Ryan Womeldorf, CHI - 2 tackles and 1 INT in 19-10 win over KC Blake Short, SD - 3 receptions for 13 yards in 38-24 loss to NE Mike Mill, PHI - 2 receptions for 34 yards; 3 PR for 24 yards in 19-10 loss to WAS Matthew Breuer, MIA - Injured for 5 weeks? Jayson Blitz-Ellis, NYJ - back-up to Chad Pennington

The least you can do is give Chloe a call. Maybe she left her douchebag husband.
How's Shannon's kid? Any baby mama drama?

****************************** September 20th, 2007 ******************************Well I did it, I called Chloe. She was so happy to hear from me but I was still a little unsure about the whole situation. I pondered it for awhile now and it seemed like the right thing so there I was, on the phone with Chloe, like it was high school...all over again. We talked for awhile, about the divorce and all that. Apparently it was pretty rough on her but something brought her to make a lot of changes in her life, a lot like me; that was definitely good to hear. Even the good girls are bad these days...see my ex-wife for example. We talked about that for awhile also but I didn't really want to so we moved away from that pretty quickly. All in all it was a good conversation, a lot of catching up. She said she was moving back home so I told her I'd get her ticket for her and her parents to come see us when we play the G-Men (which I'm so excited for!). I'm pumped to see her, hope she's still as beautiful as always...

****************************** September 23rd, 2007 ******************************Another game, another win. Carolina's struggling big this season let me tell you. We came out firing but so did they and thus kept the game close. Both our defenses were struggling, starting to look like the trend for us this season so I'm gonna have to keep stepping up along with the rest of my boys to keep us ahead. Dunn finally had a big game on the ground, I played well, and Horn kept his game up as well. Not too much to say about that really...just happy to be 3-0 now among a very small crowd (Pats, Ravens, and Packers). After the game and a quick interview with FOX, I headed into the locker room with the rest of the guys. Apparently my boy Grayson snatched my cell phone outta my locker and was teasing me about some texts from a girl. It was a joke so I didn't take it seriously, I never do, not with them. The texts? Yea they were from Chloe. She say some pretty surprising things in there and I honestly didn't know how to reply, a lot of babbling about love and stuff. Talk about playing with a kid's head. Idk, I sent her a little smile back, didn't know what else to say right then, still don't. ...
