Well, I understand that. However, the grand scheme of things wasn't to focus on my end of it. It was all about the posters. How everyone would handle such an issue. I must say that I was beyond blown away with the maturity that was taken towards this issue by everyone. Truly commendable DC.

Well that is great man. I am glad you felt that way. I mean, I am sorry if you are mad for having held a positive thought in your mind. I personally feel that is commendable and a great reflection of the type of person you are. I understand how you can be mad, but remember, this is the internet.

Well, I figure it is time to update this thread. Let me just say that I am not gay. This whole thread/idea was conjured up over AIM the past few months between DB, Usma, and myself. It all started because we were curious to see the reaction DC would have to a poster being homosexual. I think it is safe to say to the surprise of us four, the community handled it in a very mature manner. It is commendable that as a community we did not act totally immature about it. Truly I thought the tone towards my posts may have changed but it did not one bit. The expected result in this 'experiment' was nowhere to be found through all of this. So now you know the true nature of this whole thread. The only thing I would change about it would be to do this when DC was a little more active. Perhaps with more posts we would have seen more people and their true reaction to something of this nature. Sureeeeeee...... I kow you cant resist teh wenie  |

I think the word "gay" (for me at least) has changed connotations. Gay for me when I say "that movie was gay" or whatever it means that movie sucked. I'm not associated homosexuality with negative.

I just find it irritating that we speak a language with so many words yet people limit their vocabulary by using words such as gay, homo, retard, etc.
