The FreeP is so blantatly anti-Michigan it's riduculous. Go to (mostly) any other city near colleges and their singing their praises but all they can write is stuff ripping Michigan apart.

Any idiot who does five minutes of research into this knows that Rich Rod asked UM to pay the deposition as a part of his contract. Not only that but Michigan footed the legal bills, so it's pretty obvious that the university wanted to see if they could knock down the price of the buyout before paying it. Spartan, things aren't getting ugly. This needed to get resolved and it finally did. Now Rod can focus on football. Besides, that's chump change for UM. Also, do you even like the Spartans? Because every post you make is about UM. |

By the way alumni and the way fans are talking, it does sound like it's getting ugly, by an outsiders point of view. The free press hasn't really had anything good to say about RR, but when Lloyd was the coach, the Freep had an extreme UM bias and had nothing but good things to say. Really, if the freep is saying bad things about the UM program, it seems a little ugly. That's all I'm saying. And yes, I am a State fan, which is why I didn't know he asked them to pay his buyout. BTW, if I posted an article about state, this board would say "o spartan is such a homer, no one cares about Michigan State blah blah blah." I thought it was a good article so I posted it. Didn't mean to rile you up.  You're also the one who still has the user name. |
