The only ones I even know about are St.Ignatius and Glenville (Ohio). Iggy is #17 I believe and Glenville is in the top 50.

best high school team Ive ever seen was 2002 Independence and its not close at all.
lol at this team that no ones heard of who isnt even ranked in the top ten nationally

The crappy thing about the out of state games is they're set up because the previous teams are good - you know. The team Miami NW destroyed (Southlake Carroll) wasn't really THAT good last year... they never had a shot against Miami NW. Same with the Herbstreit classic last year or the year before... the team who went from Texas was SUPER crappy the year they went - finished maybe 4-6. Last year, the Katy and Euless squads were the untouchable ones in Texas... that's the thing is you just never know who it's going to be in advance that far in Texas because the competition is amazing from 100+ squads. My old school is preseason #3 in the state but I don't think they're anywhere near that good this year... |

Northwestern lost a lot of talent from last year. In fact about 6 or 7 of them went to UM. They have not lost a game in like 4 years but I think that will change this year.

Independence from here in Charlotte had their worst team since Chris Leak's freshman year about 8 years ago and they lost to Cincinnati Elder last year in OT, ending their 109 gm win streak.

I remember hearing about that. Didnt they end up losing to butler too? Even the joe cox/massaquoi teams (which were very good) didnt compare to Leak's squad though imo. |
