I think they're actually trying to avoid admitting Michigan looked like complete shit. And by "Michigan", you mean the guys fumbling? Again, the offense was inspiring. The defense was OK at best but when you had a team 21 points, can you expect to win?

The defense was OK at best but when you had a team 21 points, can you expect to win? Precisely. And no, you can't expect to win. But would you rather have had them calling your team shit, which apparently wouldn't have been ok because that has to mean only the guys who fumbled, or would you rather them give Notre Dame credit for playing the way they did? No matter how you look at it, Notre Dame played good football for what they've been doing.

No matter how you look at it, Notre Dame played good football for what they've been doing. Again, they were handed 21 points. They proved they could get 10 yards. Other than that, they didn't do a ton. We gave them great field position time and time again. The TEAM didn't play like shit. Offense was pretty good, far better than we had hoped for. The defense wasn't great but wasn't atrocious. Special teams and turnovers were what killed us. So now, Michigan didn't play like shit. "Michigan" implies all aspects of the team. All aspects of the team didn't suck.

You realize you're the only one who'd give a shit enough to argue this way? You lost 35-17, as far as anyone is concerned, Michigan sucks.

I did watch. Michigan turned the ball over six times. It wasn't one person doing it all so umm..Michigan played like shit. I don't care if every single guy who touched the field didn't, nor do I care how many yards your offense racked up, you turned the ball over six times and lost to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. They did what they needed to do to win, it's Michigan's fault for making it so easy, so yes, Notre Dame should get congratulated for winning an important game for their program.

Once again, Michigan can't just be "beat". There's always a different reason they get beat. Why was it a good job by Notre Dame you ask? Because they put the ball in the endzone. They could have easily not scored on those. They did a good job capitalizing on Michigan's mistakes.
The arrogance is unbelievable. "ND didn't beat us, we handed them the game." God, just admit you got beat.
I tried giving some "fair analysis" talk on UM week one so people wouldn't rip me, but this "we're michigan, we are the best" bullshit makes me want to bang my head against the wall. I'm not really talking about you JTR in this last part, I'm talking more about your fan base as a whole.

Ah, the good old "They didn't win, we lost" card.
I suppose if Notre Dame had turned the ball over six times and Michigan had scored 21 points off those, it would have been "Michigan was in top form and they capitalized on every mistake Notre Dame made, winning in impressive fashion."

Congratulations to the Fighting Irish who showed they can take 21 free points and not lose. Michigan's defense still could have stopped them. I thought that was the strong part of the team?

Honestly, I'm not going to argue with the MSU contingency here because you're both bitter fucks with skewed perspectives.
No one here apparently understands the concept of "if you turn the ball over six times, you're effectively giving away the game". So the lot of you can fuck off because you were just going to jump on my shit anyways.
Fucking kids.

This is exactly what I mean.

No one here picked tOSU to win....hell, i applaud you for saying your Buckeyes will lose. It takes a lot of balls to call defeat. I just hope SC doesnt get to cocky and lose to inferior teams like Stanford, Oregon State, etc. It's too early to think about a national championship bid.

I don't care about SC at this point. What they do is their own business.
