You don't think that voters are sitting back thinking they'll have another Ohio State? Not even a little bit?

You don't think that voters are sitting back thinking they'll have another Ohio State? Not even a little bit? Of course it'll play into their minds a little bit, you'd have to be incredibly biased to say otherwise. But do you really think that they are going to hold back PSU because of tOSU's shortcomings in the past 2 NC's? Bottom line is that Alabama and Texas Tech have beaten much better teams and looked much better against them in doing so. If Penn St. has a beef to cast with anyone in the B10 it would be everybody but tOSU... we're the only ones making ya'll look good right now and your lone quality win.

Guys, Tech really hasn't played anyone to date besides beating Texas at home. Tech is really tough to beat in Lubbock, and it took a terrible display of tackling for them to win that game. I'm not sold. Yet.
They still have OU and Okie Lite to play, and Baylor is not the doormat everyone thinks they are. They probably wouldn't win the Big 12 North, but they'd be in the top three.

Just like last year when South Florida, Cal, and all those other teams got to #2, I was like "They were unranked/#20-25 in the preseason ranking for a reason" Their gonna get exposed eventually, because there ARE holes there.. just when people see those big time wins they start slobbing nuts and ignoring all the bad stuff about them. Before the season I predicted USC vs UF, got USC wrong but I still got an outside shot at Florida vs Penn State.

I agree. There just wasn't one team last year you could call great, just a bunch of good teams.
Same thing this year.

Mark it down: Texas Tech will lose to Oklahoma.

If PSU continues to be raped by the computers, they wont make it to the title game. The computers realize their schedule isnt as difficult as Tech's, Bama's, Florida's, etc. and their signature win was against the Buckeyes.

The computers realize their schedule isnt as difficult as Tech's, Bama's, Florida's, etc. and their signature win was against the Buckeyes. the computers don't really factor into it as much anymore I think its like 66% of the bcs standings is based on human polls (i think the harris and the ap) so the real reason their out at the moment is because they're ranked behind UA and tech. But really won't matter because either alabama or tech (or both) will lose at least 1 one game and I really don't see any way a one loss team no matter how impressive their resume is will be put ahead of undefeated penn state. But I could be wrong and maybe their strength of schedule or lack thereof will factor into the voters minds.

It will be an absolute travesty if the BCS title game isn't represented with either a one-loss SEC team or a one-loss Big 12 team.

There's a rumor going around right now that 4 UM players quit during practice today, and one is/was a starter.

If Ohio State beat USC and then Penn State went on to beat Ohio State, would you except Penn State in the National Championship then? That's irrelevant, because it hasn't turned out that way. And I'm not saying that Penn State shouldn't be in the NCG. I should have clarified - it's still possible that USC gets into the national title game. It's a longshot, but don't underestimate their pull on the voters, especially one of the Big 12 South teams goes undefeated and loses in the Big 12 title game.
