Pretty remarkable he gets all those yards with 50 dudes in the box game in and game out.

Thats fine...since you played powerhouse defenses such as Youngstown St and Ohio.... We will compare common opponents if you want... Beanie WellsWisconsin 168 Yards 1 TD Purdue 94 Yards Michigan St 140 Yards 2 TD Penn St 55 Yards Northwestern 140 Yards 2 TD Illinois 143 Yards 1 TD Shonn GreeneWisconsin 214 Yards 4 TD Purdue 211 Yards 2 TD Michigan St 157 Yards Penn St 117 Yards 2 TD Northwestern 159 Yards 2 TD Illinois 103 Yards 1 TD TotalsBeanie - 740 Yards 6 TD's (149 Carries) Greene- 961 Yards 11 TD's (155 Carries) Im not dissing Beanie at all...I think hes a great running back and probably tops in the big ten when healthy...but when you attack shonn greene I will back him up and bore you to death with stats.... PS - I agree it would be interesting to see Shonn against tOSU's defense...would be very fun to see, and I think the game would be great as well

Dont forget b-ball boy that Beanie missed some PT after hurting his ankle early. If he was healthy, he'd prolly have more yards then Shonn and more TDs (but not too much because I think USC would of stuffed him). Still, Shonn's #s are impressive and I expect him to go pro while he's still dominant.

Shonn has had almost 100 less carries...they have played the same amount of games Doesn't mean hes gonna win the Heisman, or has a chance in hell for the Heisman. We all know that a big 12 QB is gonna win the Heisman.

First off, I didn't say anything about Iowa's SOS nor anything about Shonn Greene, all I did was point out how stats are misleading and how they can be twisted.
If Beanie is healthy he's the best back in the country no doubt.
I'd love to see Greene try and run behind Ohio State's oline this year though... he'd have fun trying to break four tackles to make it back the line of scrimmage.

You can probably make an argue for all four of them to be totally honest...

When I was at the Iowa-PSU game, I thought Royster looked really solid when running outside the tackles but had some trouble running up the middle...It may have been because of Iowa's two Dt's...
Otherwise, I thought he was a great back with very solid speed...
