A lot of the people here didn't post here 4 years ago. that's the entertaining part about it... there are very very few who'd remember it - but it was epic. this just seemed like a good opportunity to bring it up again :-) |

It was a month or two before I showed up, I remember that much. I remember looking though those old threads and lol-ing. I also remember that DC being much more fun.

what does an admin do anyways We're not entirely sure anyone knows, but general consensus is that the admin does nothing except threaten to ban assholes. Which may be why so many people are gunning for the post. I just wanna give the place a badass layout... lol |

I'm handing over the reigns to Silver because I think he could do the most with this place. I'll just go back to being a regular member like the rest of you, unless silver wants to keep me on as a moderator or something. Not that there's any of that to do really.

click on my name... edit my profile...
scroll down to where it says admin functions. it wills say "none"
change it to administrator.

That's what I did the first time and that isn't there. This isn't the orginial admin account, just one raised to admin. Would that not give me all the functions of a full admin?

so... ok...
you have to go in under the original admin account...
and there is a section titled modify member groups. in that there is an area that says "critical admin powers" assign member groups is in there.... and it is a default of no...
...
basically......... you need the original admin account ...
