DC FORUM AWARDS 2008 - WINNERS Thanks to the nine valiant souls that voted. The rest of you can all go fuck yourselves. Without further ado, the winners are: SPAMMER OF THE YEAR - david. wat? David takes home the title with 4 votes. Baseketballboy and Bstn finish behind. Perhaps this could have been different is baseketballboy, who openly campaigned for awards such as this, had actually, you know, voted. Bstn also picked up votes. T&A POSTER OF THE YEAR - Freak. In a lean year for T&A, Freak takes home the title, probably based more on reputation than actual follow through. JTR and Silver run behind. HOMER OF THE YEAR - Spartan. Another legendary battle between Spartan and Sportsbuck ends with Spartan landing a two-vote win, with some votesplitting from baseketballboy. JTR also picks up a vote here. BANDWAGONER OF THE YEAR - blaze. The Blaze Curse manifests itself, as it did in the 2008 NCAA Tournament, in which every team he backed quickly got bounced. Fair or not, blaze is the winner, with baseketballboy running behind and Spartan and Sportsbuck picking up votes. Someone also voted for DB. I won't say who, but they're on my hit list.  TOOL OF THE YEAR - SilverChaosVII. Say what you will, but Silver actually picked up a whole 4 votes here, with Spartan and baseketballboy running far behind. Bstn's brand of humor endears itself, although it was far from a runaway victory - eight people received votes in this category, with Bstn being the lone individual to get two votes, thus handing him a victory. THREAD OF THE YEAR - This Is Unusual For MeThis thread had it all - Vagina > Sports, girl problems, "in like flint," and the legendary goalie analogy. It was a runaway winner.
