It was 5-7-7-7. It should be like 3-5-7-7 or 5-7-7.

NBA playoffs need to be cut in like..half for it to be worth anything. 2 months for playoffs? come on. So you don't like having the best system possible for selecting the best team? Why do you hate America. I love the NBA playoffs and their length.

Why do you hate America. I love the NBA playoffs and their length. That's because your southern and thus move slower than everyone else. Playoffs shouldn't take a max of 21 games for a season that's 82. EDIT: Either that, or have some games back to back. Not alternating.

Seven game series allow for the better team to shine through. Unlike the NFL for example. The NBA's system will produce the best team a great majority of the time and we get to watch a lot of great basketball. It's a win/win for everyone involved.

The casual fans are the ones who watch the playoffs. The argument you are making is one that makes the league less money, tv networks less money, allow you to watch less great basketball, and does a worse job getting the best team to win the championship. You just want to bitch about something.

LOL the following
David Stern, Nike, ESPN, the media, the MVPuppets, etc.
No Kobe-LeBron finals this year!
Congrats to Orlando. I missed the game but was glad they beat LeBron. If LeBron wants to win a title, he needs to go to another team that has talent. He aint winning one with the Cavs.
And the Lakers are going to beat Orlando in 6 games. I'm hoping to go to a game when the Lake Show comes down to Orlando. Gotta root for my hometown team.

Was hoping Denver would win. Glad Lebron didn't, though.
Go Orlando.

I really wanted Lebron to go but the Cavs suck. Can't wait till he's in New York in 2010.

If LeBron wants to win a title, he needs to go to another team that has talent. He aint winning one with the Cavs. All Lebron needs is a wingman... much like Jordan needed when the Bulls got Pippen. I'm pretty sure its possible for Cleveland to find him someone. The fact that Lebron carried the Cavs to the NBA finals with no help shows me all I need to know. The biggest thing the Cavs need is a big that can play defense.. a guy that is strong enough that he won't get pushed around by Dwight Howard, much like Perkins does for the Celtics.

Lebron needs to mature a little bit before you start seeing the Cavs make serious runs. Look it took Jordan seven years and he had the benefit of a few years of college. Kobe wouldn't have won those titles without Shaq back then, even as good as he was. Lebron is a better player at equal points of their career, but it's tough to rely on a youngin' like Bron Bron to lead your team to a championship. He needs more time.

The problem is not with Lebron IMO, its with the consistency of his teammates. He set them up with plenty of chances to score in the Magic series (Especially Mo) and they didn't execute. He needs a big that that can at least control the middle... being forced to double Howard is the reason that the Cavs are at home right now, when you leave Turk, Redick, Lewis, or someone else on the Magic open they will make you pay, and they did. Sidenote: Pau Gasol is the most awkward and out of place m'fer I've ever seen on a basketball court.

LeBron needs a Michael Redd, or Lamar Odom, or Ron Artest. Mo Williams is a start. But knowing how cheap Danny Ferry is, they're not going to spend a huge ammt of cap on a free agent this year. And if LeBron doesnt win next year, he's out. He's been on that team for more than 5 years and all they have is an Eastern Conference title, 1 finals appearance, and a loss in the ECF. All while playing with a shitty roster. Imagine what'd he do on a team with talent!
EX: The Brooklyn Nets with Devin Harris, Brook Lopez, Vince Carter, and LeBron's best friend Jay-Z. That should lure him.
or he can go to New York and play in an uptempo system and on a team that'll have a lot of cap in 2010.

If he plays for NY he'll make so much in endorsement deals it'll be silly. I think he'll be a Knick in 2010 for all that money he'll get and a situation where they can build a team around him.
