Fuck fuck fuckkkk....If Nebraska hadnt kicked the ball out of bounds on that last drive....smh. Once it went out, I knew Texas was gonna win. Colt McCoy was gonna pull some magic out of his hat like he usually does. Hope Bama kicks that ass. But FUCK!!!!!

What a joke. Texas does not deserve to win this game. TCU would beat them.
But of course, the BCS gets exactly what they wanted. Good fucking job.

McCoy certainly didn't make a play that drive. It was the Nebraska kicker that blew it, the Nebraska horse collar-er that blew it, hell, McCoy almost blew it for his team, with his running in the backfield. And Mack almost blew it too. He should have been looking at the clock if McCoy wasn't going to. Awful ending to an otherwise good game.

The BCS: We wont have a playoff system because the regular season is the playoffs
*regular season ends and there are still 5 undefeated teams left*
SMH @ this system. Fucking pissed!

The SEC Championship game was exactly what I feared it would be all week. Alabama had been waiting to play us since last years loss, and you know they had to figure we'd be right there for them to extract revenge. They played like it, dominating inside the trenches and having they're way on third downs and inside the redzone running the football.
McElroy made all the throws he needed to as well on third down, and they made great play calls with the screen pass and the touchdown pass to Peek. The offense kept Tim Tebow off the field for the majority of the day due to the success I mentioned above, and therefore we were never able to establish the run or any sort of momentum.
Overall, great job by Alabama as they completely outplayed us and outcoached us. None of those guys forgot about last year and the chance of coming short again, while Florida seemed to forget what was at stake and the fact of who they're opponent was. Good luck to them in the National Championship, and although the Tebow era is nearly at an end you will see another Florida-Alabama SEC title game shortly.

Sportsline's BCS projections excite me.
Jan. 7 BCS Title Pasadena, Calif. Alabama vs. Texas Jan. 5 Orange Miami, Fla. Georgia Tech vs. TCU Jan. 4 Fiesta Glendale, Ariz. Iowa vs. Boise State Jan. 1 Rose Pasadena, Calif. Oregon vs. Ohio State Jan. 1 Sugar New Orleans, La. Florida vs. Cincinnati
Being underwhelmed by Iowa and GA Tech, TCU and Boise would have real chances. Even if Cincy loses, 3 undefeated teams would really be hilarious.

Boise and TCU in the Fiesta Bowl. Pathetic, but it makes all the sense in the world for the BCS - they don't have to worry about a BCS conference team getting toppled, and guarantee that an unbeaten gets knocked off. Perfect sense for them.

i have never felt so mad at the BCS than what I've felt the last 24 hours.....my team isnt even playing for a BCS bid neither. Florida will skullfuck Cincy, Georgia Tech-Iowa will be a snooze fest, TCu-Boise will be interesting to say the least, and Bama is gonna beat Florida.
I think im more excited about some of these non BCS games than i am for the matchups i listed above.

TCU and Boise would both beat Iowa. The BCS would be in total chaos if they let that happen, though, so they had to pit them against each other, and then they can say the winner "only beat a MWC/WAC team" to diffuse the split title calls.
They may be shiteating snakes, but they're not dumb.

ya i might!! We will see how much of a paycheck i get in these next few weeks!! We supposed to be getting between 4 to 12 inches of snow this week so I would love to leave this place ASAP!!!
Ill be interested to see how our physical smashmouth D does against a faster offense. We seem to have success against speed teams such as Penn St and Arizona but this is another step up I assume considering the option. Making it a whole new ball game!! But ill leave on this note....

Adrian Clayborn Eats Options For Breakfast!! No offense, but I hope the triple option kicks your ass. The important thing I took from tonight is that the BCS establishment is entrenched deeper than the Maginot Line. It's going to take a real sea change to get some decency here. I personally don't think it'll happen by the end of next decade. Will things change? Sure, but nothing will solve the inherent problem. And it's not just a problem with the championship, or the five bowls the BCS controls. The whole bowl system is flawed. Shame that such good seasons always end up with such shitty endings.

ESPN's new contract says the BCS can't even be tinkered with until 2014 at the earliest, I believe.
Translation: get used to it.
