LOL gators against the pass i always do a dime, well i play it every down, and blitz my 2 inside corners every play, it get the quarterback rushed and makes him not as accurate, and against the run all you do is be the free safety, the outsides are contained and the inside is also with the dime

I've been using the 4-4 defense with a 3 deep look against the pass. I use the 3-deep look that brings one middle backer, preset the secondary deep (triangle, up) and shift the defensive line out to take care of any outside run. I also sub the SS for one of my OLBs and play my best three backers at the remaining positions.
In my PSU dynasty Last season my D got 30 ints and 42 sacks using primarily that and a variety of Dime zone coverages for 3rd and long situations.

I think the game i bought is cursed. I was playing oregon and the computer was like the '97 Wolverines, unstopable. The usual, my qb gets knocked out of the game, theirs gets hurt, nothing at all. My te drops a pass wide open.. theirs catches a 20 yarder with my db on him. My TE was rated higher in catch etc. I fumble with no one around, they recover, they fumble with 3 of my guys and one of theirs, he recovers. Maybe i should goto varsity and many more. I ended up turning it off because I didn't want to physically hurt myself over it

1997 michigan would have been killed by 1997 nebraska. Period.

Can't argue with that one Huskers.
I think I'll go back to Cooley's AA settings, because on Heisman, the Tennesse running back was bursting through holes and we couldn't lay a lick on the guy.

haha, awesome!
You better throw it to Charnock when you start playing!
Oh yeah, little Heisman cheat. When you're at the startup of the game, use controller 2 to select your opponent. After kickoff, switch controller back to neutral (controlling neither team) and play from there. That will take care of the computer's super speed. Also, makes the game a lot better in my opinion.
My Heisman sliders are on my PSU dynasty's Notes page.

It's just that on Heisman the computer tends to have an unbelievable burst. If they break, no matter who, they are usually gone.

Super burst = 20 sacks by the D line alone.

When I had my BSU Pac-10 dynasty, my team was so good that I was creaming about every team using AA with me all the down and computer all the way up. I tried Heisman but it was way too hard. My O-line was probably the best in the nation but I was getting sacked every single time without even having a chance to throw. Plus the kicking meter really screwed me up. This was the whole reason I stopped playing NCAA for a while. I've been thinking about trying it again soon though.
