I know it man, it made me a little sick to watch it, and I couldn't care less about LSU. I do know all the LSU fans I've talked to since the game are a little pissed about it and rightfully so. Probably cost y'all a shot at the SEC title game.
Then again, if Russell throws it away on that last drive, you probably had a few more shots at the endzone.

Russell made one mistake and that was it. I don't know why he didn't throw it away, that didn't make sense to me either. We should have had the ball at the 16 with a first down and about 2:30 on the clock though if the refs don't make a call that's never happened before in my life.

No actually the OU-Oregon game was. OU had the game but the refs gave it away, but I'm still happy! ;D Its about time Stoops didn't get something to go his way.

Also why did Les try to run both JV and Alley? It seemed like Alley was the only one who could do anything. Then you had the two late hit no calls, the catch by Hester overturned, the two PIs, and just an overal ref jobbing. I just hate to see a game lost because of what the men in stripes did. Oh and Oklahoma got screwed too, which sucks.

What are you mad about? The fact the ball WAS actually tipped and the refs made the right call, or the fact that you lost and can't admit it?

What are you mad about? The fact the ball WAS actually tipped and the refs made the right call, or the fact that you lost and can't admit it? I agree with the call actually, but explain to me how the PI on the LSU interception was different? The way they overturned the call also left a bad taste in my mouth. Still, I'm just confused on how an interception is different than a tip. If you can explain that to me, I may be more sympathetic. Overall though, the refs were still an abomination! Hopefully Karma will come back to bite the Tiggers in the butt come November 18th. (Not bad refs, but some unholy miracle that somehow makes Alabama beat y'all)

the bad thing in the ou-oregon game is that they spent like 5 minutes on each replay and got them wrong

What interception are you talking about?

something tells me two people in this thread saw the game through different colored glasses.

What interception are you talking about? Remember it was after the offensive interference on Taylor. Taylor was going down the sideline and got held up but another LSU guy picked the ball off, only to have it overturned because of PI.

Also, don't forget about when LSU was about to score and the LSU receiver got freaking tackled by David Irons... That call should have been PI too. Me and my friend watched the game and we hate LSU and Auburn because we are big Bama fans.
I NEVER blame the refs for games except a certain couple of New Orleans Saints games last season, but the refs DID blow this game. I swear I think they were paid off...

LSU lost the game though, because they could not convert at the end. A real championship team would have been able to do that, and they were not. It does leave who's really the best in the West up for debate due to the effect of the refs, but LSU still could have won despite it. Auburn cought the breaks and did just enough to win against a more talented team. That much, they deserve credit for, because they couldn't control the refs. It's just too bad a great game like that was marred by very questionable calls.

It wasn't just the two horrible pass interference calls. There was a hold that put LSU way back which screwed them that wasn't a hold at all.
It was honestly the worst job of officiating that I have ever seen in my entire life.

I know exactly which play you are talking about, and your right it wasnt a hold but maybe you missed the play right before that where an LSU lineman tackled one of our defenders and they didnt call it.... so we r even there
Also Bama, that PI on the sidelines- Our receiver got tackeled- of course ur gonna call it

btw, the SEC came out yesterday and said the officials made the right call on the PI near the end of the game. so stop all your whining. And I'm sure your gonna say that the SEC is just backing their officials and they have to say it, but the refs from the Oregon-Oklahoma game were suspended and it shows if the wrong calls are made, actions are taken. Just because a bunch of Anti-Auburn people and Lou Holtz thinks it was PI doesnt mean it actually was.

Does the SEC really know what they're doing?
As a completely unbiased spectator, I'd say they were bad calls.

I think he missed me saying it, but the PI at the end of the game was the correct call. Yes, I said it, it was correct. The calls earlier in the game weren't as dare I say "correct." Oh and SEC refs are horrible, and each team gets their share of horrible calls at their hands.
Oh and the Oregon/OU game was still much worse of a screwjob.

The president of Oklahoma University, David Boren, asked for the game to not go against either teams record because if OU would of got the fumble they would of just kneeled to win.
