Yes I said it, go Buckeyes. I know this is against my favorite team but our season isn't going anywhere, we aren't going to win the Big 10 nor get to a BCS bowl. Ohio State however will compete for Big 10 title.
Why you ask am I hoping Ohio State to win? One word, Michigan. I hate the Wolverines with a big passion. I don't even want them to get a share of the Big 10 or a BCS bowl. I want Ohio State to win this game and take all of it. I don't want a share even with a team other than Michigan. I want OSU to win it all in the Big 10.

Well I guess it is a win, win situation for me but I would rather see someone finish ahead of Michigan.
If State wins, I'll be happy because that means we could be 8-4 but I don't think it will happen.
Sportsbuck, you are right. We could have scored on the opening drive but we couldn't because of a dropped pass, a holding penalty and a sack. Little mistakes kill us.
I am sick of the holding calls on screens.

I am a fan of Michigan State, which is why I hate Michigan. Face it Ruff, MSU's season is basically done if they want anything good out of it. They could go 8-4 or 7-5 and believe me I want them too, but Ohio State is undefeated and I want to see them take the Big Ten, not Michigan. I hate the Wolverines with a big passion.
I am not disowning my team. Did I disown the Yankees? Have I disowned the Mavericks? Did I disown my Broncos after losing to the Steelers? No.
The whole reason for me wanting Ohio State to win is because of Michigan winning the Big 10 or getting a share. I don't even want them to get a share of it with Ohio State, or even Illinois. None at all. I want one team to win, anyone but Michigan. If someone has an oppurtunity to beat Ohio State or whoever is undefeated in the Big 10, I don''t care if it's Michigan State or Purdue, I am rooting for OSU.
I don't know why people think I am disowning them. Maybe I didn't explain enough in the post.

I'm not blaming Michigan for the downfall, I just hate them, since I am a STATE fan. I can't stand to see them win. If they win the Big Ten, they earned it, I just won't be happy about it.

I totally agree with you and if OSU is the better team, then so be it. Michigan has to beat Iowa, NW, Ball St. and Indiana then we can talk about who is the better team in the Big Ten. I always loved the in-state rivalry between MSU and U of M but I never cheered for the other team to beat you. Maybe because I have a lot of friends that went to MSU and its just fun to talk about it and such. I don't make a big deal about it anymore since its just a game. |2uff |

The reason I hate Michigan is because they are my teams rivals. Aren't you supposed to hate your rivals? Seriously, if I disowned my team don't you think I would have changed my name from Spartan or completely forgot about my dynasty?

The problem is Spartain, it seems like you hate your rival more than you love your own team. I don't hope LSU beats Bama so that Auburn will have a harder time going to the SEC title game. If my team wins, it's better than anything else.

No, I am not saying stop hating us but like bama said "it seems like you hate your rival more than you love your own team". I hate OSU with a passion but I am not going to cheer for MSU if MSU had a better record then U of M just because I hate them. I think I just love my team more and I want them to do well. I will watch other teams to see how they are doing but I will never cheer against my own team. Just my thoughts, nothing personal. I just hope you can see what some of us are talking about (except for the spelling error discussion we are also having between bama and detroitGo Tigers!! |

But you guys think I am disowning them. Would my name still be Spartan if I disowned them? If Michigan State had entered this game with a 5-1 record like they should have, I would have rooted for them. But since we are 0-2 in the conference, we aren't going to win the conference. We aren't exactly headed to New Years day.
Ohio State however is. I would much rather see Ohio State win the Big Ten simply because I hate Michigan. if Michigan wins against Ohio State and gets the Big Ten title so be it, great job by the Wolverines. That doesn't mean I will be happy about it.
I am still behind my team to go a possible 8-4 which could very well happen for them or most likely 7-5.
I am seriously not trying to be an ass, I just want to make sure you are understanding why I rooted for Ohio State. If Michigan State won, I would be happy as well simply because it would salvage their season. It was basically a win win situation.
