If Rutgers takes out both Louisville and WVU I say they should get into to the NC game...anyone else though I say no and agree on OSU or Michigan/SEC champ (that is if the champ has one loss). If not, then either OSU/Michigan winner (barring no other loss) vs. Louisville or each other in a rematch.

My answer: Absolutely not. I don't care how good Louisville is, they play in a weak conference and so does West Virginia. SEC is much tougher and with the schedules those teams are playing they definitely deserve to play in the title game. Now if the team has one loss and the one loss was to a weak oppenent then yes, but if you have won all your games except a road loss to Florida or LSU or something, you should still be able to get in. Louisville plays West Virginia, Rutgers, and a Pitt team that Michigan State beat. Your answers and opinions.... You seem to be forgetting the Illinois team that I believe MSU lost to a couple of weeks ago that Rutgers shutout 33-0...hmm. If you're going to argue about one team that your team beat...argue about the other one that your team didn't. And I wish everyone would quit leaving Rutgers out...they have just as much a chance to take down Louisville tomorrow night as Louisville does them.

The SEC championship race is still kind of up in the air. An Auburn loss to either Alabama or Georgia (seems highly unlikely, but rivalries are as such you can't count anything out) ends up throwing a a three way tie between Arkansas, LSU, and Auburn and quite likely LSU will hit the odd tiebreaker of having the highest BCS ranking. I just quite frankly don't think Florida wants another shot at the Tigers from the Bayou. Then again, Arkansas wins this weekend and they sew up the SEC West. This will probably back UF into the MNC game, because I just think they will find a way to springboard Louisville.

If they get past Louisville, they won't beat the Mountaineers on the road, which means there's three one-loss teams from the Big East.

As a Gator fan I want Auburn in the SEC Championship. Especially after giving them the game in the 2nd half. Plus, if we beat the only team to beat us I think it may give us more credibility to make a NC game.

That's why beating Pitt meant so much. Did I ever mention that they beat Illinois? No.

I just have this feeling Rutgers is going to get beat, and soundly. These Knight players haven't played a game of this magnitude, ever, and Louisville has already played some big games in the past few years.
Then again, the Cards could be in for a letdown after last week's big win. Especially since they are at Rutgers.

I have Rutgers getting a win over either Louisville tonight or West Virginia in a few week... but not both. I think the SOS in the SEC trumps the Big East this year. The level of competition in SEC is just quite a bit deeper this season.

I knew Rutgers was going to win when that UofL player jumped offsides.
As long as their fans don't go around saying they should be in the NC game, I'm content with them winning.

I was pulling for Rutgers. Huge win for them, now if only Florida can win against SC, FSU, and the SEC West leader. Needless to say, this has been an exciting coll. football season for me.

Long ways to go for any one-loss team right now.
You're right, this is one of the more exciting seasons I've seen in a while.

Uh.......how bout them Knights? Now what if Rutgers is that undefeated Big East team? Should they get in over a Florida or Texas?

My guess is we will never know, and West Virginia takes care of Rutgers.

That's why beating Pitt meant so much. Did I ever mention that they beat Illinois? No. Wow relax there bud. You not getting the point. You were talking about teams they played and how the Spartans beat the big, tough Pitt team but didn't include the Illini team they played as well and won quite handily, that your team got whipped by...a very poor Illini team at that. I said you forgot them...so obviously I don't know where you got the idea of me saying you guys beating Illinois. If you're going to put the Big East down for playing one team that your team managed to defeat you have to include the others as well, even the ones you lost to.

Uh.......how bout them Knights? Now what if Rutgers is that undefeated Big East team? Should they get in over a Florida or Texas? Even if RU goes undefeated, they don't belong on the NC hunt. I think even they know that. I was at the game and no one was talking about the National Championship after. We talked about how the program took a big step forward tonight and what a great game it was. As for WVU, I don't think Rutgers wins, but I'm not as sure as I was yesterday. And there's some bad blood there. Many people still remember the 80-7 game Schiano's first year.

Good to see a rational RU person on here.
Knight fans are burning up late night talk radio saying that the BE is better than the SEC.
Right.

I'll give props to Rutgers for beating Louisville but it is evry unrealisitc they'll get an at large bowl bid. I mean West Virginia is going to kill em unless the Knights pull out a George Mason type upset. Even if Rutgers do win all their games here on out, theyll finish in the top 6 of the Nation with a chance to play a team like Texas or some SEC team in a bowl game.
They started the season unranked and now they are rising in the polls. Louisville and West Virginia were ranked in the top 10 all season long. Those were the only two teams that had a realisitc shot at the National Title because they were recognized as major teams. Rutgers isnt a major team quite yet.
Look at Wake Forest. They can win the ACC but I cant see them getting an at large bowl bid nevertheless a National title. If you are a small program, you arent going to have a legitimate shot at getting to the National title until you prove year in and year out you are serious contenders.
