Because I can't not tell someone.
I've been playing as Kentucky. I'm in my fourth season and barely beat Florida and South Carolina (both powerhouses) early in the year. I'm all about good defense and the running game. I have talent on the defensive side of the ball and two really good running backs that make up for my part young, part average offensive line.
I get to 9-0, #3, and have easy games against Tennessee (in serious decline) and Vandy, then #14 Georgia and the SEC championship game, likely against #18 Auburn. If I win out, which is very possible, I'm almost certainly going to the NC game.
I'm killing Tennessee, 35-14 in the fourth quarter, and on back to back plays my two halfbacks get hurt, both gone for the year.
I only have two other halfbacks on the roster, one pretty good and the other hasn't carried the ball in two years. I have almost no shot now of winning the title. I can't win all those games with these guys.
I'm crushed.

Sounds like an interesting dynasty. I have never even had two guys get injured for season in one game, not too mention back-to-back plays and same position. Worst thing ive had happen was a star receiver getting a career ending injury in Madden during year 2021 or something like that just entering his 3rd season (happened in preseason).

Wow, I could not take that. I would've restarted the system, and played the game again. You did save before the game, correct?

I saved after the game so they are out. Technically, only one was out for the season, but the other went down for ten weeks, and as it's already late November, he's done.
I've never had anything like this before either. I've had guys hurt, I played most of the season without my best DT, but never like this.
What's worse is most of the year I was undefeated but hanging around at #6. I'm only a four star program and there were a bunch of five and six star programs ahead of me. It looked like I could run the table and still not play in the title game. It was only the past couple weeks that some teams lost and I started thinking NC.

So you've got Vandy, Georgia, and likely Auburn left right? I said work your ass off for it. Keep running the ball like you've been running and add in some pass and hope for the best. Sucks though, never had that happen to me.

Oh, I'm going to try. I'm off work the rest of the week, so I'm going to play the rest of the games quickly. Rather than my usual three or four games a week pace, I'm going to try and up it to three or four games today, or at least by tomorrow finish the year.
The problem with throwing the ball is I'm playing a redshirt freshman QB who is decent at everything but not a carry the team type of QB. I average around 150 yards a game passing, so it's not completely foreign, but it is definitely set up by the run. I also don't have great receivers, so I have to figure out a way to keep running the ball or I'm probably in trouble.

Is Micah Johnson still there? I had a one season dynasty with Kentucky, and he was a pretty good power back for me. You might want to look into using him.

Yes, but he has beastly Power. He played running back in high school.
He would make a good fullback to go to, Jason, sort of like how Brian Toal is used by BC.

Thanks sportsbuck. He's still on the team and an absolute beast, but I have a pretty good FB who can handle short yardage and pick up a few extra carries as well.
In case you're wondering, I beat Vandy 38-14. QB had 290 passing yards and the two HBs had decent efforts and seemed to be getting better as the game went on.
I beat UGA 23-14 thanks to good defense, four Georgia turnovers and one of my HBs busting out for 212 yards.
Despite playing horribly, I somehow pulled to 28-21 halfway through the fourth against Auburn (SEC title game). Then I got even luckier. With under two minutes left, Auburn lined up for a 34 yard FG that would have effectively ended the game, but we blocked it. Scored a few plays later. Still with some time and timeouts remaining, Auburn tried to drive and threw an INT. I kick a FG with no time left to win, 31-28.
So I head to the NC game at 13-0, ranked #1, and Oklahoma just destroys me, 41-17. My offense consisted of the QB running for his life and heaving the ball downfield hoping a WR makes a play. I think I had something like 8 rushing yards, but at least I made it. Maybe next year.
