Though Florida appears to be the team getting in, there is no question Michigan was a good football team this year. None.

Why would Boise State be in the NC? They had a hell of an easy schedule, like every year.

Why would Boise State be in the NC? They had a hell of an easy schedule, like every year. Because, according to the BCS themselves, "Every game is a playoff." Every team besides Ohio St. and Boise St. has lost. Is this a double elimination playoff? And how can you not be in the championship if you don't lose in a playoff? Just going by what the BCS told me.

If you lose to a team that lost to (i'll admit) a pretty sucky Georgia team. You dont deserve a national title shot.

I'll say it before Fox does, because I've seen the Harris. The National Championship Game is Ohio State vs Florida. Also no one read my last post, or you people are just dumb. I don't remember the Germans bombing Pearl Harbor, but that's just me.

Florida had the tougher schedule. That's the biggie.
I can't say I disagree with the choice.

First BCS game is as expected, Boise State vs Oklahoma in the Fiesta Bowl.
My picks for the rest of the games:
Orange: Wake Forest vs Louisville Sugar: Notre Dame vs LSU Rose: USC vs Michigan National Title: Florida vs Ohio State
I'm willing to put big money on the fact that all of those are dead on.

I fail to see how people are disgusted that Florida's in.
Tougher conference, tougher schedule, same amount of losses, what's to argue?

I hate to burst your bubble but Florida really does deserve it. They played 10 bowl eligble teams this year, and only lost a game. Michigan played 6, and the most impressive team they beat (Wisconsin) played only one ranked team this entire season. Florida won the toughest conference in the nation this year, only lost one game, but since Michigan made it look good against Ohio State they really deserve another shot. I mean, it's only fair that they could split with Ohio State and still win the National Title.
Look at who Florida played and who Michigan played and tell me Michigan beat more impressive teams.
Oh and this Auburn thing is a joke! You forget Florida was in a set of games where they played Tennessee, Kentucky (Bowl Bound), Alabama (Bowl Bound), LSU (BCS Bowl Bound), and then Auburn. I hate to tell you, but that beats you down more than playing Ball State and Indiana before facing Ohio State. Plus the fact of the matter is that every game is different and Auburn was undefeated in games starting 2:30 or later this year. Why does that matter? They were 1-2 in the 11:30 time slot. Florida played them at night, where Arkansas and Georgia got them early in the day. Also they almost loss to Ole Miss when they played early. Just something to consider.

Tougher schedule by 2 spots. Hardly a difference.
3 points to OSU, while Florida lost by 10 to Auburn.

Tougher schedule by 2 spots. Hardly a difference. That's total BS. You can't convince me that Michigan had a better schedule than LSU, Florida, USC, or Texas. I don't know who makes those SOS things, but they must have no idea what the hell they are doing. LSU for example played all four of their road games against teams ranked in the Top 10 at the time. I don't think that has ever been done. Yet somehow it appears Michigan played a tougher slog. That's a joke.

If Florida played Michigan's schedule, the scores probably would have been pretty similar.
My point being, Florida won by less....Michigan won by moe...Michigan was playing worse teams.
