This thread has turned into yet another Michigan or FLorida argument, and I freaking agree with you.
You're just being awful harsh on Lloyd Carr when several other players and coaches cry much more blatantly that Carr is. So freaking lay off.
If you search hard enough, you can find a DAILY sports quote thats BS.

Florida also lost that game a long time ago. They are playing good football right now, and Auburn is still a tough SEC team. Who's good in the Big Ten this year that Michigan played?
Ohio State, Wisconsin?
Florida has played, Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Because Llyod's comment was bull sh*t. He's basically saying someone hurt his feelings and Urban Meyer cheated to get into the national championship by his remarks. ...I don't think he said anything close to 'cheated'. Just becaquse he disagrees with something doesn't mean he's a crybaby. Margin of victory. Try looking at it.

DB, what does Carr do everytime he loses to Michigan State? He creates a controversy. Time ran out, Howard was tripped.
I know there are coaches out there that whine too, I'm just saying he seems to cry a whole lot more than one other single coach.

Call ME a crybaby, but I'd cry even harder than Carr if I was in his position.
Michigan lost by 3 to the best team in the land, and Florida lost by I dont know to the not best team in the land.
*ends uneducated post*

Ohio State barely beat Indiana, didn't they? I guess that means that they should be 119th in the nation.

Ohio State beat Michigan, guess Michigan doesn't have what it takes to win on the road.

Indiana..Illinois...still should be 119th, I guess, if I'm thinking like Spartan.
Spartan, Auburn beat Florida. Does that really matter?

Hopefully you're kidding.
I agree with you SPartan, but based on your comments, you're setting a major double standard.

But Auburn wasn't the game that decided the championship. Florida controlled their own destiny by bouncing back and winning the SEC, no easy task.
Michigan however, had their shot to be national championship bound, and they blew it. It's no one's fault but theirs.
If they had just won the stupid game, they wouldn't have to worry about it.

Spartan, grow a pair.
I would much rather lose by 3 to a number one ranked team than 10 to an 11th ranked team. Honestly, which is more impressive?

Which is more impressive, winning the SEC, or not winning the Big Ten?

Give the Big 10 a championship game. Neutral field, it's a different story.

If Michigan beats OSU, would you be making this same argument for the Buckeyes?

Ohio State has beaten Michigan in Ann Arbor before.. which means Michigan has the ability to win in Columbus.
