I'm sure the majority of you have atleast heard his name if not already scouted him personaly, but the USC Trojans have a Sophmore MLB named Rey Mauaga. His 6'3 260 pounds of whatever nationality resembles Troy Polomalu. I first saw him in USC's game against Notre Dame last year as a Freshman and often this year. He has simply out played 3 year starter Lua and has made USC's defense twice as good.
He can run sideline to slideline to make any tackle on any player, he can cover the tight end or runningback in the pass defense, and he's got an uncanny knack to read offenses on his blitz. He's got incredible hands for a Middle Linebacker and could be stronger that half of USC's offensive line.
To make an already long story short.... If you get the chance, watch Rey Maluaga play in this years Rose Bowl again Michigan and Mike Hart. It's entertaining in it's own right.

Honestly, all the Hawaii guy does is insult Fette or post about Colt Brennan... Well to comeback... I talked about Colt Brennan in a NCAA thread about heisman canidates so i was actually adding to the conversation... I insult Fette because we go back and forth and do it.. we've been friends for a long time and its what we do.. |
