If the Division 1A were to make a conference in Division 1A for 8 Division 1AA teams, who would they choose?
I am doing this in a dynasty, rerplacing the 8 Sun Belt teams with Division 1AA teams. Appalachian State, Delweare, Southern Illionois, Youngstown State, Montana, Umass and Texas State are the 7 I have right now. Those are the most prolific school if you dont count Grasmbling, Bethune-Cookman, Florida A&M and GA Southern.
Hopefuly someone knows Division 1AA better than me and can help me deside who the final team should be. James Madison has won a title. New Hampshire and Northern Iowa are good. Rhode Island, Maine, Chatanooga are all good schools.
Any idea?

I dont think so.... They play in the same league as Bethune Cookman. The mid-east if I am correct. Division 1 would never let them in with there ugly uniforms anyways lol. It's a disgrace to anyone who's ever played the game.

I think you could replace them with the top 8 teams from the Atlantic 10 currently. I would drop Northeastern and Williams and Mary...

Think of the Montana/Dakota rivalry. Or even better, take away one of those schools and put in South Dakota State. The Battle of Dakota!

Put in Montana State. They are the next best team in 1-A Championship Subdivision. Made the top 8 in the playoffs this season.

We're D-2. And our University president has no plans to go I-AA anytime soon. Damn. We could compete in I-AA, I believe. |
