offer scholarships in the early weeks or is that bad....I saw the option and wondered if it would give me a higher chance of signing the player, but want to make sure it would help me....say a 4* recruit wants to come to me (Vandy) and his interest is moderate, would offering him a scholarship early increase my chances of landing him?

This is a video game, so obviously the situations are different. But I would say as long as you match up favorably with your school's attributes and the recruit's interest in each, you should offer. If not, use the sway option and more closely match yours to his.

However, a first offer could go a long way. Try it.
