From a Buckeye fan, California should stay at No. 1. We beat an overrated Purdue team, but they beat a very, very good Oregon team.
I honestly hope LSU comes back and wins, that way Florida can beat them in the SEC title game and knock both of them out of the MNC race.

Chase Daniel's stat line. If he's not in Heisman talk by the end of this weekend, the hacks at ESPN need to have their heads examined. I don't give a shit if Nebraska sucks, they're still a decently talented team and we blew them out of the water.
Not saying we WILL win at Norman next week, but this team, especially with the way we played defense tonight, can play with anyone in the country.
I guess I'm just in shock, but that's probably the single most dominant performance by a Mizzou team I've ever witnessed.

LSU is clearly the best team in America. Les Miles put together the single best drive I've ever seen in LSU history when he needed it the most. Biggest clutch situation ever. Jacob Hester proved myself to his biggest doubter. Miles proved himself to his biggest doubters. LSU will not lose this season.
Its gay that USC lost. I wanted LSU to beat them. The win is awesome though.

The win is awesome though. I would argue that the drive against UGA in 2003 was bigger than the drive against UF tonight. It was a ballsy drive and LSU got some clutch plays. Miles deserves to be hit in the face for going for it on fourth down. Yeah he got it, and the football gods were smiling on the Tigers, but who passes up a nearly certain tie for a possible win. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Still though, it worked out, LSU deserves a ton of praise. They are the best team in the country right now. There is not a team left on their schedule who I think can pull a legit win. Next week could be a trap, but I doubt it. Follow that up with the Auburn game I think, which now looks like it could be a very tough game. Then an off week and the trip to T-Town (they will destroy Bama). Shit, these guys won't have a really big chance to lose until either Darth Visor or UF in the SEC Title game. Best game of the season was tonight on the bayou btw. |

Hey now, I have a legit reason to hate on your Tigers...Ole Miss student/Bama guy in Baton Rouge. Miles is sitting on a ton of talent, and he's using it to its full potential. That defense is just sick nasty, no matter what UF was able to gain against you guys. Florida showed they are a legit top 10 team by pushing LSU to the brink. What does that say about the other...more evil Tigers of the West? I thought it was going to be a skullfricking against Auburn, now I'm not so sure... P.S. Alabama will beat LSU next year, at our home away from home. (I can't begin to imagine how jacked the LSU fans will be for that one though) *Edit: Sportsbuck, the LSU fan base are generally arrogant pricks. Good people, don't get me wrong, but arrogant pricks nonetheless. Jeff is just one of em... |

I mean this in no offense to the Big 10 guys on here, but when Illinois is atop the standings, you've got problems. The Big 10 is only a notch above the ACC, if you ask me. Not to say that Illinois is amazing by any means. But they are NOT the team they were three years ago. They have been making big steps... I think they deserve to be somewhere in the top 20 right now. |

I sat down to watch the LSU game at the start of the fourth quarter... saw they were down by ten and said they would win it simply because I believed they are the best team in the nation and would have a clutch performance. Granted, every time they faced 4th down I doubted myself but they pulled it out of their asses lol. Glad to see USC lose as well. My most hated team... Notre Dame being second  |
