Okay. Here we go. I just needed to rant because I was actually at the game and I had to deal with UM fans all night and it was a long ass ride home.

Yes Sportsbuck, I love MD... what can I say? I love his attitude. He's the guy I want coaching our team. I know he is going to get his players in here eventually, look at Cincy. Look what he built there, a team that was ranked in the top 20 for awhile. I am confident he is going to turn it around, it's going to be a lot of patience on my part though. JLS left a mess.

Overall, the team played their hearts out. As much as I want to blame our secondary, they never quit and half the time they were stumbling anyway. We are playing competitive with very good teams. We just need better players to get over the hump and actually finish this game, AKA defense.

We are finally playing competitve with teams and that's what makes me feel better. We haven't lost by more than seven all year I believe. We have Hoyer and Ringer coming back and Dantonio has a good class coming in, at least a class with some promising prospects. But I guess our secondary is young. All freshman and maybe one or two sophomores.

I don't know. The future looks bright, and maybe this season is just a very odd coincidence. We did after all take Illinois and Minny off our schedule for Wisconsin and Iowa. We had the 4th toughest schedule in the nation according to rivals.


I guess the last two weeks, I can hope. Neither Purdue nor Penn State has looked unstoppable. 7-5 can still happen. All I can do is hope.

Next year... DEVIN THOMAS COMES BACK!!
