It seems all around the internet, people keep thinking that Mizzou is going to lose to Oklahoma. I haven't really looked on here much, bashing Hawaii lately and all. I think they will beat OU and I think they are the real deal. Maclin is a beast as well as Daniel. I think Mizzou goes to the NC game. That's just my point of view. I would love to hear arguments because I'm not a Big 12 guy.

Honestly, I haven't watched enough Big 12 to form a solid opinion, but I truly hope so. Because if OSU gets back in the NC game, I'm going to be one sad panda.

i really hope they win but the top 2 spots have been cursed this year so I'm gonna have to say no. It will be fun to watch the "Sucks" (aka OSU) get molested again.

I'm not even going to address these posts, because I know I'll end up addressing them over and over again for the next month at least. But I will say one thing. David, why the f--- are you so anti-osu? I mean you act like we are the scum of the earth and get embarrassed in every bowl game despite the fact that we have only lost one BCS Bowl all-time.
Depends on how Bradford plays. If he plays well and Oklahoma can run the ball, they will win. If Daniel has time, and by time I mean can receive the snap, he'll pick OU apart. Funny thing is those blitz schemes Missouri used to confuse Kansas won't work against OU, so I'm expecting a shoot-out.
Sidenote: Can anyone in the Big 12 play defense?
Edit: Also, David, who is the girl in your avatar? I've always wanted to know.

We've got plenty of speed to handle it. I don't doubt that WVU would put up points on us, probably 21 or 28+, but we could, um, contain them. WVU has struggled on the ground against their two opponents ranked in the top 20 in rushing defense (Cincinnati and South Florida), and Ohio State is ranked #3 in rushing defense.
But I don't think they could stop Beanie Wells or the rest of our offense. If we do end up playing them and it evolves into a shootout I would take our defense to come up with enough stops to help us win, because theirs isn't exactly great.
Mizzou may win, and they may lose. Either way, I get to see a great game. If Mizzou loses, we get to play WVU in the MNC. If Mizzou wins, we face USC in the Rose Bowl a year before we start our home and home with them.

I think OU has it coming. Mizzou players were talking about how if they did this right, or wouldn't have turned the ball over in this situation, they could have won. Harmless, right? Stoops turned their words around and made it look like the Tigers were disrespecting them, saying they "could" have won. What an arrogant asshole. A few of the players were doing it too, feeling "disrespected". Pure bullshit if you ask me.
Sounds like they're more worried about what we're saying than focusing on beating Mizzou. #1 team in the nation and a three-point dog? To a team that got bitch-slapped by TT and Colorado, teams we beat by a combined score of 99-20? Please.
On the other hand, Oklahoma could very well beat Mizzou, but I can see right through this high-and-mighty act they're putting on. I think they're scared.
Mizzou by 10.

I think OU wins in a close game.
West Virginia should handle OSU with ease, IMO. I don't think they have the speed to contend with them. OSU didn't have the speed last year with the Gators and quite frankly, even though the Gators are very young, OSU still does not have the speed.

LoL anyone who says we don't have the speed to compete with WVU obviously hasn't watched very many of our games this year, considering we have one of the fastest front sevens in the entire nation, yes, that's including the almighty SEC. Vernon Gholston runs a f---ing 4.5 at 260 pounds at DE, Lauriniatis is a beast, Freeman is the fastest linebacker other than A.J. Hawk to play at Ohio State, and Larry Grant may be the most underrated linebacker in the country.
The myth about Ohio State not having speed, is just that, a myth.
Last year's NC was not about speed. It was about the nation's most talented (And most underrated) playing the perfect game after hearing nothing but shit for a month while the then #1 team in the land sat fat on their asses and heard about how great they were after they were crowned national champions after beating Michigan, and then came out to play like shit. Not to mention that Urban Meyer came up with the perfect gameplan, absolutely perfect. 9/10 times that game is a close one, and most Florida fans I talk to agree (Not saying we'd win 9/10, but 9/10 would be close games). And it doesn't hurt Florida when they averaged to start on our 38 in the first half.

Come up with a game plan you think is going to work. Thats what he did. Saying it would be a close game 9/10 is just idiotic. How can you even say something like that?

Our defensive speed is what killed OSU, it had nothing to do with your defense. Thats why we averaged that start, because we stunned your receivers by keeping them quiet and keeping a guy in Troy Smith's face at all times. I agree that would have been a close game most times rather than not. I just rather see Missouri as the "cinderella" in this against West Virginia. And Lauriniatis? Beast? Didn't Tim Tebow run over that guy? Do know that if you guys make it 'Buck, ill be pulling for you cause you guys put up with alot losing both championships to Florida last year. So good luck.

It makes perfect sense if you would actually read it. It means he came up with the perfect gameplan on how to overwhelm us and defeat us. A lot of times coaches come up with gameplans that don't work (Such as Jim Tressel in the same game). I can say that because it is true Clayton, and most UF fans I talk to agree with me. @ Leak: Haha, that wasn't Laurinaitis that got trucked by Tebow. That as his backup, #38 Austin Spitler. And thanks man, glad to hear it from ya.

Both teams get a home game in the agreement. Like in 05 we played Texas at home, then in 06 Texas played us at home.
