I am sick and tire of people writing off Michigan. I haven't stood up for my team, so here goes. I think we are forgetting, Michigan has an entire roster of players that we're just writing off.
David Cone and Steven Threet.
Cissoko and other commits are looking around, no official change. He visits Tennessee, but was reported as sticking with the Wolverines by MLive. We have a top-20 recruiting class, no matter what site you praise. We are still in the running for some top players, Nick Perry comes to mind. And we will be adding a firey, top-notch Coach. All signs now point to Rodriguez, who if he installed his offensive style and changed the defense to the 3-3-5, it could see future success the same way Zook has found. Next year may be ugly, but the winningest program in the history of football will still find a bowl game (unlike greats like Nebraska), and will be building future success.....

I would say something about this, but I'll leave that to Chis, because he pretty much mirrors my thoughts on the rest of Michigan's roster. Not to mention that you are losing your best players in Henne, Hart, Long, and Manningham.

Also, Cissiko has said publicly that if the hire comes from outside of the staff he would most likely be headed to Illinois.

Yeah, have fun with the 3-3-5. I actually think that will make your defense worse. I hate your winningest program of all time garbage too. You have .5 national championships in the last 50 years. That's worse than Michigan State. You haven't accomplished anything in the modern era. You have a losing bowl record of 2-5 this decade. You are 1-6 vs OSU in the last 7 meetings. If UM does make a bowl game next year, it's because they have a schedule that will rival any team from the WAC. Congrats on your 4th choice for a coach. Not even a "Michigan Man". What's up with that?

I doubt RR will be stupid enough to install the 3-3-5. He will most likely keep English and let English handle the D while he installs the O.
That said, Terrelle Pryor added UM to his list today because RR is going there.. (He's still a Buckeye lock. If he ends up going anywhere but Ohio State, the shock to me would be the equivalent of Mount Union beating LSU)

I think Rod will keep English, bring in MaGee for the offense, and let go of DaBord. Pryor coming out public about adding Michigan is interesting, and if was the OSU lock that he has been called all year, why isn't there even a verbal. I see him pulling a McCormick and pulling out the Maize and Blue hat when the cameras are on him....

I would much rather miss a bowl game then lose to Appalachian State. That's an embarrassment for the rest of Michigan's football life. At least Nebraska doesn't have that ugly blemish on their records...oh yeah they also have 5 titles.

Take off your maize-and-blue colored glasses there. Pryor has said all year long that he wants to wait until NLOID, and hell, you guys are at the bottom of his remaining schools right now, anyway. Not to mention that if he goes to UM he'll be apart of rebuilding effort behind a terrible offensive line with no other threats around him (And not to mention Mallett is still there if he stays), while if he goes to OSU he waits a year, then steps in with some of the nation's best skill-position players and one of the best offensive lines in the country in front of him.
Pryor will be a Buckeye, book it.

Oh, I've booked it. Its just exciting to see how quick a hire finally made a change. Nothing will come from that change, but its a change.

He's got his work cut out for him working with Mallett. Mallett didn't progress at all this season when he saw duty, so he is the equivalent of a first year starter.

I hope he transfers. He has a ton of talent, but his attitude won't do him much at Michigan. We can start Cone, play Threet and have some success. We'll need a runningback to step up, the same way Hart did three seasons ago....

The biggest thing you guys need is for your offensive line to step up. The entire Michigan offensive line got dominated against Ohio State, and freshman Cameron Heyward made Jake Long his personal bitch.

Very true, and the younger players like Boren, Schilling, just haven't shown anything. I'm more worried about the run defense, that should have been dominant and was exploited week after week.

What's funny is that RR told Pryor that he was leaving before he told his WVU players.
They are ready to burn RR at the stake in Morgantown.

So yeah, I'm rooting for the Buckeyes against Michigan until RR is gone. Yes I am still bitter over last year, even though I think Bama may have gotten the better end of the deal.
I do hope Pryor goes to Michigan though, just to read Sportsbuck's reactions. Seriously, he's as bad as an LSU fan.
