I was waiting for somebody to post it and I was right thinking Spartan would Not meant to bash. Just thought it was quite weird how a bunch of kids have decided to get out.

Since Chis didn't mention it, I suppose I will.
When Bo took over, 40 players quit the team. So a handful for RR isn't the end of the world. And besides, I'd rather weed out the uncommitted guys right now.

"We're forging ahead with the guys who play for Michigan," Rodriguez said Tuesday night when asked about Boren, adding he only talks about those who play for Michigan.
What a dick move.

It's a dick move to focus on coaching a football program instead of going on about something that no longer matters?

I heard the real reason behind him quitting is that he couldn't meet the physical requirements of the no-huddle spread. He was struggling to breath alot. Just what I've heard though

Just what I've heard though You sure, you sure that the family values wasn't an excuse so he could justify leaving the program instead of simply saying he couldn't cut it? Boy I sure am glad that idea crossed my mind. (Not bagging on you cooljay, I bagging on Justin Boren)

Trash talking a 20 year old kid isn't my definition of a class act.

Trash talking a 20 year old kid isn't my definition of a class act. Where exactly did he trash talk Boren? He stated that they were going ahead with guys playing for Michigan. Boren no longer does that. Simple statement. Personally, its the only way he should handle it. Why drag on something that doesn't matter?

I have no problem with him not wanting to talk about former students. My only problem is when a coach of a bunch of 18-24 year olds saying "I only talk about current players" is just a bit of a dick way of saying it. If he re-words it saying, "I don't agree with blahblahs decision, but my focus is on the future of Michigan football" it sounds worlds better.

He also said "I only talk about players who play for Michigan" when he was addressing Terrelle Pryor, and when he was addressing Ryan Mallett. Did you think that was a dick move? Just wondering, because atleast he's been consistent with what he's saying.

I don't mean to sound like an ass or anything, I actually sort of like UM, it's just I think it's an ass move to say it like that, no matter what.

Fair enough, I just thought you meant he was being an ass for putting off Boren, a former player like that. But now I understand where you're coming from, no harm done.

I just find it funny how the CFB universe immediately went into "ZOMG DICKROD IZ N AZZHOLE!" when Boren left.

I just find it funny how the CFB universe immediately went into "ZOMG DICKROD IZ N AZZHOLE!" when Boren left. It was actually right when he left WVU.. I agree and disagree. He left because he was offered more money to coach at a national power house. Few coaches would turn that down (and yes, I'm well aware that Schiano and Miles turned us down, but Miles is at his own powerhouse and Schiano is responsible for building Rutgers into a respectable program). However, I disagree with the fact that he did not coach them in their bowl game. That, I feel, was the only "dick move" he made. Also, while I'm at it, WVU needs to quit crying that UM stole their coach. We stole nothing. We didn't force RR to leave. He simply wanted to coach at Michigan because even though WVU had become a nationally prominent program, they're not Michigan.

JTR, I think you may have missed my point.
People started considering him as Dickrod when he left WVU.

JTR, I think you may have missed my point. People started considering him as Dickrod when he left WVU. No, that point was recognized. Hence why I made my points about his departure.
