Wow, you haven't even seen it yet and you're complaining.
Guys, it doesn't look bad at all. You will have to work with things a little when it first comes out, but you'll adapt just fine. Mine and Robino's dynasties actually work just right with it and mine actually looks a touch better I think. So I'm answering some questions and I see complaining from people. I'm just saying, don't complain until you see the thing.
*Alex's Lightbulb*- I think this is a good idea, but we could run into problems with people making dynasties with the redesign's look and people using the old one. Though a different view could solve some of the issues.

DC is basically a database plugged into a layout, I believe. So it wouldn't be that hard for a great coder like Stephen.

But in the old scheme, you could do anything with white. Now you gotta struggle to make it fit, just doesn't seem right. I mean it might make the overall look seem cooler. But people's dynasties could just get screwed over, IMO. But I'll give it a try...

What happened to using the team's colors as part of the dynasty pages? If we could do that (have the Falcons pages be red, black, and white, while the Browns pages are brown, orange, and white), there would be much less confusion and everything could run smoothly.

Also, allowing team-specific colors could be added incentive to get a premium account.

I think everyone needs to remember that I've never explicitly said that the site would support the use of background wallpapers-members just took the creative flexibility and ran with it. That said, I'm trying to ensure that the redesign doesn't mess the creative flow of the site. I realize that's an important part of it now, even though it wasn't when the site was launched. I'm sure we'll find a happy medium somewhere.

I think that this is going to be fine. It will make it have a nice new look. Besides, maybe if all of the sites don't look the best it will get people focused on the writing.

If by black background you mean black where the homepage layout goes, ugh/10.
I think everyone should see the redesign so that kinks can be worked out, personally.

I've looked at bsktballr's site (dynasty) in the redesign and it's white in the layout as normal. Others are not, and you have a black background instead of white. It actually looks better for mine and a few others (Stewaat's IMO looks better than beforehand). I understand some won't like it but overall it doesn't really hurt anything, it'll just need some HTML tweaking.

Look, we've already delayed this like a year because everyone *****ed about it last year so Stephen postponed it. I say just let them all finish up....it's not that hard to tweak your color schemes and components to make it look nice.
