It's ugly but I'll take it. I atleast got one final four right this year.

It's ugly but I'll take it. I atleast got one final four right this year. My last chance for a correct Final Four pick is UConn. I've never, ever been skunked in the Final Four of any bracket pool I've been in. This year I am dangerously close. Last year the only one I had wrong was Michigan State. With that said, go George Mason.

Jami...I'm in the exact same boat as you. I think UConn will win, though.
I thought Memphis and Texas would win today too.

UConn is 0-and-5 against teams with "home court edge". vs Texas in an Austin region, UNC in a Greensbro region, UCLA in a Oakland region, Ohio State in a Cincy region, and there was one other. That is bad news

UConn would make it 2 for 4 on this end. Last year, just like the five years before it, I got three of the Final Four correct. This year has been crazy though. Looking back though, I can at least say that both of my Final Four teams that didn't make it lost in overtime in later rounds. So they couldn't have been too bad. Well I just need LSU to beat UCLA next Sat. and I will win my school pool. I was so close to calling LSU to make it through too.

Every time Glen Davis and Tyrus Thomas are shown on screen, you can almost see the dollar signs in their eyes. No lie. Davis isn't giong anywhere, he isn't even being considered a first round pick in two years. Thomas on the other hand will most likely be gone i think. Sad that I wont be able to see him play.

Meh, I'm no expert on drafts or anything, but nbadraft.net has Davis going Top-20 this year...

Davis is not ready for the NBA. He's got to get some of that.... let's call it "baby fat" off. I'm just not sure if he's ready to play against guys that are stronger than him down low. Another year or two, and I think he'll be a pretty good player.
Thomas on the other hand is a freak of nature. He seems like a sure lottery pick to me, based on the games I've seen of his this year. I just really hope he stays in school because all the guys on the LSU team come from the same area. Five are from Baton Rouge and one is from Denham (I'm almost certain that's the spelling) Springs just west of Baton Rouge.
I just want to see good basketball next year at the PMAC. That and I'm about certain I'll be able to nab tickets for the LSU/Alabama game. ;D

Thomas could definitely use more seasoning, too, but I think he's this year's Marvin Williams - he'll get picked insanely high just based on potential.

I honestly think that the kids should go to college for at least three years (like with the NFL) before making the jump. It gives them more time to mature and season their game. I think it would serve players better to do that.
I think Thomas will end up being good no matter what, as long as he gets good coaching. May take him a few years in the NBA to get to the level most see him being at, but I think he'll get there. Teams will just have to be willing to wait and develope his talent.

i have a feeling that eother uconn or nova will lose tonite. Yes tats rights on of them will lose, and we will not be treated with the matchup we al wanted. i also feel that if my prediction is correct and only one number 1 seed enters the final four than that team will take home the chip

Nova is in for a very tough game. This is a much different UF team than they beat last year in the round of 32. I cannot wait for that game to get going.

I really hope George Mason can win today. I dont see how anyone can root for UConn in this game that didnt go there.

Well, im going for UCONN, because this was my final four picks. Duke had to go screw me over. If not for that I would actually be looking pretty good right now.
My Final Four Picks Were Duke UCLA UCONN Boston College
I had Duke and UCONN in the championship game, and had UCONN winning so im not done yet...

GM fell behind early, and I think they'd have to be playing out in front to have much of a chance.
But they have battled back to within 2.
