I remember when I thought $400 was a lot of money. Now I can lose it in a day and it doesn't even bother me. I hate growing up.

Last year would have been better for me in my money pool if BC would have held on against Villanova. One game is all I needed. One game. Same here. I came in third in a money poll at school. The year before I won both my dad's work poll (100 bucks for me, my dad got the other 100. I am still bitter about this because I made all of his picks) and the school pool (another 200). Last year was brutal for me everywhere else but that one bracket I entered in at school. Some UF fan (see best friend) nailed Florida, LSU, and UCLA in the Final Four and had UConn as his other Final Four team. Also had the title game right. So needless to say, he won the whole damn thing.  |

Yeah, he doesn't know much about college BB, so he just makes me pick the games every year. Since I generally do well, it's a good system I guess. Except he wants half the cash when I do win the thing. Which sucks, because he only has to pay in five bucks.

And I did go check...yes, it was me who finished 20th out of 20 last year. If I hadn't won all my brackets in 2005, I would probably just give up.

Remember - you can still join the group up until the first slate of games on Thursday the 15th, and there's plenty of room for everyone (up to 250 people per group. yeah.) So if you still wanna join even after the selections are announced, please do.

Yep, I'm in, and I'm hating the East bracket. Can UNC be consistent? Can Durant carry Texas? Do the Hogs get revenge for the Football Opener? Can Wazzu hold off a Golden Eagles team that beat Kansas at Kansas? How good is Vandy? How good is GW?
In the end I have the consistent team play of Georgetown coming out. But Texas seems really really strong right now. And UNC could have the best "A" game in of the tourny if they can play that way in the Sweet 16.
