So, we have yet to hit that 12-5 upset, so we have both Illinois and Arkansas with a shot in the night cap. We also have two one seeds who ought to run through their competition. I'm sure there are other big games, but I can't remember them.
So far, I'm 18-5 in my bracket. I wish I would have gone with Xavier last night but this is a better start than last year. Losing two Sweet 16 teams hurt, even more so with me flip-flopping taking GT there instead of my gut reaction to put UNLV in the Sweet 16.
Today has featured some pretty good games though, much better than yesterday's start. Hopefully the night games will continue the trend.

In my money pool I'm 18-5 too and look ok going into tonight. So far I have all my Sweet 16 teams in place and I think I have a shot to finish top-3 if the Final 4 pans out.

I picked Creighton to beat Nevada but I was wrong. Nevada looks really really good and I think they have a legitimate shot at making the sweet 16 this season because Memphis doesn't look all that good. But so far, i had 17 correct picks.
Now I have to hope Kansas beats Niagra tonight. Niagra looked good against FAMU but if Kansas wins, they'll have that losing in the first round mentality out of their mind.

Im doing pretty bad at 16-8, but I'm only 3 games out in my money pool, and the leader has Illinois in the final four and Memphis winning it all.
Anyways it would be nice to win out tonight. My goal was to get 6 or less wrong in the first round, but 8 wouldn't be so bad.

I cant wait to see Villanova VS Kentucky- that was a hard one to pick (I have 'Nova winning) but other than that I hope i have accurate picks tonight. Besides, im in a 8+ tie in placing in the DC Pick em league

Oh and who didn't think Kansas was going to skulldrag (I don't know where I got that from) that poor team? I mean, I don't care for KU that much but they have some serious talent. Texas is going to roll in the second and I would go crazy if Zona could actually pull this one off. Mainly because I like to win, but more craziness if Va Tech can beat Illinois. |

The refs are scrweing VA Tech now as the hokies try to come back in it. VA Tech guard Deron Washington gets popped in the face and as he goes back on defense he falls and trips an Illini player- it was unintentional too yet they called a technical. Illinois is getting away with a lot of things right now...

VA Tech with the win, hell yeah. Only Arizona messing up hurts me, but they aren't a Sweet 16 team like the Hokies were for me.
