what an effort by VCU- they're going to be quite good next season (so will George Mason!) so the CAA should be able to get some prestige. I never cheered for a team so hard in this tourney.

To clear it up I wasn't trying to badmouth you (Although it probably comes off that way), as I did the same when Ohio State was elminated in the second round last season.

A lot of games have been. I don't know, I still love the Tourney, but this year has been a downer, atleast for me in so many ways. I've only gotten excited during VCU-Duke, Ohio St.-Xavier, and a few others.

That Vandy game today had me hyped up as did the OSU game. I thought today's games were very exciting. The first round was a downer, but today's games drew me back in.

Today's games were pure awesomeness. Overtime games are always the best.

I'm pissed, my DC Pick em bracket is by far my worst. I have another one that I have 36 wins in, should have used that.
It was a great day of basketball though, hopefully tomorrow will at least be better than the first games.

I wouldn't say there were really too big of upsets yesterday... a 5 seed edged out a 4 seed (even though 80% of people probably wouldn't have known Butler was a real college until they pop up in the tourney) and a 6 seed beat a 3 seed. No 12 over 4s or 10s over 2s...

All the underdogs gagged at the end.

i think we see the bulter win as an upset becuase a small school like butler knocked off a big acc school like maryland.

Ha looking at the Yahoo leaders, there's like 5 or 6 guys left with perfect brackets. But one guy hasn't filled in his Final Four, and another has Butler going all the way...

Post by I am a huge CUNT on Mar 18, 2007 12:06:15 GMT -5
I stand at a solid 4th.
A lot of teams scared me yesterday for my money pool, like OSU, Pitt, Vandy, but in the end they all won and I rested easy. I lost only Butler on my money pool yesterday.
DC pick em', I had Duke over Pitt, which was very stupid, but oh well. I'm just glad I didn't pick a lot of upsets like a lot of others.
But 34-40 ain't bad.
As far as MSU goes, I am very glad they hung with UNC for awhile at least. Up until about the last five minutes they were back and forth. A lot of people expected that UNC would run them out of the building. I expect a lot of this team in the coming years.
I have UNC winning it all in my money pool, but now I'm wishing I didn't do that for some reason.
