I have never said that Canada is better than US. In fact I plan on moving to the US cause this f*ckin cold is terrible. I was simply saying that Canada should be treated as an equal by the Americans but it isn't. Most Americans (not making any generalizations) believe that they are superior to all and that what they say goes no matter what. I am very sorry if I have offended anyone but I believe stongly in the fact that Canada is one of if not the best place to live in the world (I said it is in the Top 3-5 of Countries).

To Bstn: Sorry I tend to break out into a spontaneous brash of swears and I tend to talk black (even though I'm not) when I am engaged in a heated argument.

So to sum it up I think that Canada and US should be treated as equals, I would very much expreciate no Canada bashing (as well as no US bashing even though I do it alot), and I am not black. Sorry for any confusion.

I will make a deal with you I will not bash the States as long as noone bashes Canada/Canadians. Take it or levae I dont care.

Take the REAL us hs all-star football team, the army-all american kids, the kids who go straight to college and have a starting job as a freshmen, etc, and there is no chance any team in the world can hang.... for the love of god, these teams can go beat a lot of lower-tier college teams by the time january rolls around.

Outside of the All-American bowl, there is no true HS all-star team. NCAA has a rule that an athlete can only play in 1 hs football all-star game, I can guarantee I'm gonna play in a 3 1/2 hour nationally televised game with the best 96 athletes in the nation as opposed to a 45 minute "world bowl" at the super bowl site in what simply is an exhibition tourney... I saw it this last year in Houston for the last super bowl, and my hs team it self could have destroyed any of the 4 teams there.... was mexico, us, japan and canada.

Very simply, a true all-star team for Texas, California, Penn, Florida or Ohio.... not combined, seperately, could each beat a team from another country.... yes, Canada produces some fine football, but anyone who is not blinded by their countries flag will admit that they're best 50 in the field could beat the beat 50 americans on the field 1 out of 20 times.

I will grant you that. I was simply defending the Canadian style of football. But you have to take into account that alot of our best players weren't there either.

Yeah, and that's cool.... Canadian football is fine... each region is different.... the style is fine.....

The thing with all star games is they are never really all-star games unless you're pro. Texas has a few state all-star games... Oil Bowl vs Oklahoma, Bayou Bowl vs Louisiana.... I forget the names of the ones with NM and Cali, and Fla every now and then..... these games are for fun for the players and recognition, not for bragging rights. For example, Oklahoma sends their all state teams to the game vs Texas, but TX only sends their 3A players (tx has 6 classifications, about 250 schools in each, 5A is the top), and as a whole, 3A can't come close to hanging with the high competition in TX. If OK wins that game, are they better than TX? Same with the game vs LA, all of the TX players are from east texas. There are so many things to look at and consider in these things.... so one win in an exhibition game can not make ANY statement at all... that's simply my point.

Outside of that, I hate to have taken this off-topic, I apologize, I simply wanted to interject.

I know I completely agree with you if it was an actually allstar game then the US would kick the snot out of us. But it is still a pretty amazing feat none the less.
